Biggest Loser 11 Spring Team Challenge--for Losers and Maintainers

I'll join again. I'm really late as we've been on vacation for a couple of weeks. My name is MB. I actually just today posted before and after pictures on FB and it was really tough for me to face what I looked like just a year ago. About a year ago, I weighed about 260 pounds. Today I'm about 178 (up a little from being on vacation and not working out like I should have as it was so cold). My life has completely, utterly changed in the past year. My big hurdle now is keeping things going. I'd like to lose about 35 - 45 more but it's not nearly as easy as the first 80 or so.

Anyway, that's me. I'll join in - need something to get my mojo back!

I am very new to this but I would love to join the challenge as well as a loser :thumbsup2 I have about 75lbs to lose and can use all the help I can get!!

If there is still room..I would like to sign up as a loser. I want to run the half marathon at DL in September and I have a local 5K in February.

Is there an eating plan that I need to use? Does anyone know a good one out there? I'm a vegetarian but need some direction on how to start. Thanks for putting this together for all of us. I'm sure together we can all help each other. :grouphug::cheer2::cheer2:
 
Always room for more! The more the merrier as they say!

There is no set meal plan with us. We write about what we do, what works, what doesn't, etc. There will be questions of the day that can help. Check out the recipe thread that is towards the top of the WISH thread I believe.

Ask questions when you have them and someone will answer them.

I would love to join you all! this is great inspiration for me. I WAS one of those obnoxious people who could eat whatever and never worry about gaining- well once I hit 25 all that changed....but my habits didn't:eek:

Any who, I am hoping to take off about 25lbs and my ultimate goal is the Disney 1/2 marathon next year.

I am looking forward to the challenge!!!

Coaches ask as hosts of the thread, post QOTD (questions of the day) and generally keep the conversation moving. It is a lot of fun and very motivating. I'm very interested in that too -- I haven't gone totally vegetarian, but I like to use vegetarian recipes a lot to cut back on eating as much meat.

hmmm hard to say. I would say only if I have too. I'm ok with dairy in prepared items or baked goods but butter and milk on their own taste bad to me. So I use margarine and soy milk. I LOVE cheese though. Yogurt is ok too when I'm in the mood for it.
