I think the photo says it all -- what an incredible memory and a wonderful time in all ways -- Great job!
Today turned out to be a not so bad day. I did use a lot of my weeklies, but I still have almost half of them for the rest of my week. I'm calling that a positive. I also did better than 4:40 miles on the recumbent bike today. I did 7.66 miles in 35 minutes, which included cool down. I'm calling that a positive too!
The weeklies are there to use, don't feel bad when you do! I'm glad you made it to the gym, it sounds like you enjoyed your workout
I got in 7 miles of WATP today. I plan on doing a 4 mile walk in the morning. I have to go to work and I found out my boss won't be coming in as one of her kids is sick so I will be there by myself from 9-12:20 when my co-worker comes in. I have to run and pick up
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean tomorrow. Can't wait to play it! Probably won't get to start it until Wed or Thurs night. BUT I GET TO PLAY IT FIRST!!!!
Sounds like you have a busy day planned, enjoy your new game!
I swear doing a race in Disney is probably the only way I'd ever get motivated enough to run
Sue -- This is true for me -- I literally started running when I told dh I wanted to do the WDW Half in 2008. I started training in January 2007, and I haven't looked back! I figured the only way to convince dh to ever go back to WDW would be to incorporate something new, and at that point neither one of us had done a Half. Since then dh has done 6 Halfs and 2 Fulls, and he has three more Halfs scheduled for this year. I've completed 5 Halfs, and I am a huge fan of Disney races!
It's been a roller coaster ride for me today. I am elated that Hunter is healthy

Excited about the prospec of a new job. Disappointed that I had to give notice that the other job, frustrated that the menus I printed last week for the Restaurant have errors (due to computer issues). Tomorrow is a new day with great new opportunities
Great news about Hunter! The quick job shuffle is sometimes the best thing. I left a position for a new one at the beginning of Summer 2000, and by the end of the summer knew it really, really wasn't for me. My current position, which literally matched all my qualifications but still had some room for growth, was advertised and I knew when I applied it would be a perfect match for me. Eleven years later I wake up (mostly!) happy to come to work, and eager for new projects. It's true that sometimes the best position for you isn't available exactly when you need it, but in just a little time, there it will be
Question of the Day
Can you name one thing that has helped you on this journey?
Lots of things, but right now the key seems to be in journaling. Seeing what I'm eating helps motivate me to exercise even when I don't want to, and also gives me a realistic sense of what is going in my mouth
Not much time this morning so this will be a quick post.
Have a great day,
Lisa! I can't believe your Half is so close! I hope you are getting excited!
Maria- Love the rolo story. Bummer on the steps. I have a soft spot on my front porch, but keep something over it because I hope to make it at least another year before replacing it. Glad to see you.
We've been doing the "make it another year" for about 5 years now, and it's clear we can't...on the bright side, our mason said he thinks the infrastructure is sound, based on the way the brings are crumbling off. At least once we fix this, we should never have to worry about it again.

Have a great day at work!
Have looked at 60-70 houses in 6 neighborhoods! Taking today off to THINK.
Wow,
Shawn! I would need a day to think after all those houses! I'm glad you are taking some time to get them straight in your mind and find the perfect fit for your family.
I'm on my third load of laundry, decided to change beds since I'm home today. I've made a container of crepes for the boys to heat up for breakfast over the next few days. I'm tempted to make a cake, but I know that I will end up eating it so I'm trying to resist.
It's good to be in your house -- clean laundry, fresh bed linens, yummy crepes! I made a cake that is WW-friendly for me and the fellas this week -- just haven't got to it still eating the Mother's Day cake they bought me...anyway, it's literally just angel food cake mix and a can of pie filling. It's a decent treat with not a ton of calories.
I got up and did my 3M this morning before work. It's a good thing I have tomorrow planned as a rest day. I have to come in at 6:30 since dh is bringing me before he heads to NH to meet my FIL. They're going to Maine to set up FIL's camp. FIL and his wife spend most of the summer up there. Anyway, I'm getting myself home which means a nice long walk to the subway. I'm trying to think if there's anything I want to pick up since I'll be walking through Downtown. I need to get dh's birthday present for later this month, maybe I'll stop in at Macy's...anyway, I'd better get back to that job I enjoy so much!
Maria
