Biggest Disney Park Blunder

Country Bear Jamboree - It's really quite creepy and disturbing.
WDW's version of toontown - It's such a huge disappointment compared to DL.
Tike Room - What were they thinking???

Changing the original Journey Into Imagination
Getting rid of Mr. Toad(I love POOH i just wish they could've put it in without taking out mr. toad)
Toning down Mission:Space(I liked the original back when they were having soft openings much better. It was a lot more intense. :woohoo: )

Biggest Blunders:
1. Removing the water park from Fort Wilderness.
2. New version of The Hall of Presidents.
3. Removing 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Taking out the Golden Horseshoe Revue.....what is it now, a meet and greet???

What they gonna do next? Put a big ol' birdnest next to the Tree of Life in the AK?????? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

:rotfl2: :lmao:
That's classic. I hope you didn't just give someone any ideas.

My top blunders...

1) Tearing down my beloved Toad.

2) The exit music that used to be played when Epcot closed. Boy do I miss that.

3) I really do wish Stitch would escape once and for all.

4) The very idea that someone is considering taking away Carousel of Progress. Disgusting.

5) The Swan & Dolphin. Their architecture is a matter of taste, but the fact that I can see the @^#% buildings for miles and miles is ridiculous.

Random Blunders:

Mr. Toad's demise.

Not separating R&R, TofT & Fantasmic from each other - too crowded. :crowded:

How (starting from scratch) could they have made the walkways (& especially the bridges) so narrow in AK. :crowded:

Not having an Hispanic themed movie / character / princess with 50 million (?) hispanics in our country.

& I'm ready for some new countries in WS. (Autralia/NZ, Russia/Ukraine, Argentina/Chile, maybe others).

But...the World still rocks.

rushing to build and open MGM first against Universal. it's a cramped and blandly themed result.

Not going through with the planned Little Mermaid ride, or the gondola ride at Italy. Or not doing Africa or Costa Rica at WS.

But I'll never do Stitch (pay to have something burp chili at me? I think not!), and having done it once, can't understand why anyone would wait on line to go on Tomorrowland Indy Speedway - huge lines, stairs, the heavy smell of fuel all around, and then the payoff is putt putt cars.
I agree with this one. I've only been to WDW once, in 2002 for our honeymoon, but this ride was the biggest waste of time for us. It was the longest wait of any ride during the whole vacation (we were in line for 60+ minutes) and the ride itself was disappointing. We won't be going on that one again next time.

Wow, really guys what's wrong with the MGM hat?! I love that hat!! lol when I first saw it while taking the bus to mgm I was in awe.

Blunders for me are the Pooh characters. :confused3 I just don't get that Disney feeling from them. :confused3

Not building Beastly Kingdom (tho, givven my view of Dinorama, maybe I should say buildin AK instead of Disney Seas or a villian park).

The Figment-less JIYI redo is a real close #2.

I have to say i agree with the Stich attraction (i rode it once this past March and that will be the last time). I also miss attractions that are no longer there. One i can remember vividly is the skyway in the Magic Kingdom. I always wanted to ride it, however the line was too long and the next time we went it was gone. However ever time I go past the building where the carts entered and exited I think about how I wish it was still there.

I know a lot of people don't care for the Saw and Dolphin architecture but personally I really like these resorts. yes there theming may not be as nice or up to date as the other EPCOT resorts but I always remember the Dolphin as the first resort we ever stayed in on our first trip to WDW when we all go introduced to the magic.

Making Main Street a Generic gift shop!

I miss the arcade, the magic shop, and all the things that made it unique!

Second place:
Losing the "street" performers in Epcot (i.e. Living Statues) and the Streetmosphere at MGM.

1. taking away the main street electrical parade
2. taking away Mr. toads wild ride
3. taking away 20,000 leagues
4.taking away if you had wings
5. changing tiki room
6. changing main street
7. changing journey into imagination
I hope Disney doesnt get carried away and take away all of the great(and/or cheesy) rides and attraction. I grew up with Disney world and I miss those things. Please do not get rid of carosel of progress or indy. They are a part of the original Disney.

The BIGGEST BLUNDER has to be the 3:00 downpours every afternoon in the summer (who's idea was that, anyway...?) :confused3

Now I love Stitch...I cry everytime I watch Lilo and Stitch...but his ride is the most FOUL thing I have ever been subjected to in my entire life. I have a very touchy gag reflex and being belched on by Stitch...smelling his stinky breath and feeling the heat of it was almost more than I could take. I literally started gagging and once I get started I can't stop. So gross...so wrong on so many levels...

yep, I vote for Stitch...

Chester and Hesters-ugggllllyyyyyyy and hot-at least remove the carney games
Not using the 20,000 Leauges lagoon for something awesome
The new Tiki Room
The BA hat blocking the Chinese Theater-put it over near Fantasmic!
Removal of the Diamond Horseshoe Review
Removal of Kitchen Kabaret
Removal of Toad
Removal of TON
Removal of Hunchback
Change of JIYI
Closing of Wonders of Life with no replacement
Closing of River Country with no replacement
Closing of Ariel's, Adventureland Veranda, Aunt Polys (lunch), Bonfamilies with no replacements
Value resorts
Leave a Legacy graveyard
No Beastly Kingdom

Changing Imagination! That was the very first ride I went on in WDW and it was pure magic! I was hooked! Several years later I went back with my sisters who had never been and I was really bummed to see no Figment in sight! I'm glad he's back but its just not the same.

The "putt-putt cars" can go, too. We used to get excited about those at Hershey park when we were kids, but drive 5 mph in a dinky little car lost its appeal once my older sister got her driver's license!
