DH and I finally filed our taxes!! YIPPEE!! WE GOT THE BIG BUCKS!!! 4 DIGITS!! 
It was so nice to hear how much we're getting back! And check this out...I realized that on last year's return the agent forgot to put on my Hope Credit (education credit for tuition paid, you get back about 50% of it), so I asked Melissa who did our taxes this year and she called the office where I had it done and they said to do an amended form and because it was their mistake, DH and I wouldn't have to pay for it. 
So along with what DH and I got this year, we're receiving $300 from last year that we didn't get. Isn't that awesome??!! 
If I wanted DH and I could take that trip to Disney, but I think instead of blowing it all in one lump sum, I'm going to ask DH if we can extend one more day in New Orleans. I think it would be tiring to check-out on our anniversary and then have lunch and go to the zoo for a few hours and then drive home late in the evening. I would much rather sleep and get up the next morning and drive home from being completely rested. (((( I just asked DH could we extend to the 23rd and he said no problem!!! )))) 
So the first thing I'm doing with some of the refund is buying myself a motorcycle helmet. DH has been riding for 7 years and I've never got to ride with him. It's about time don't you think? He's online right now helping me find a cute, but safe helmet.
Well, I just wanted to share more good news! I hope all of you are doing well, and I hope some of my DISer friends received a nice refund from Uncle Sam also.
