As i type this im sat waiting for Fantasmic to start, with the Brazillian tour group chanting reaching a tedious mind numbing creschendo.

I've been here for nearly 2 weeks, with the family. I can honestly say much of our vacation has been ruined, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it, by Brazillian tour groups. I known it sounds dramatic, but;

1. We have had Brazillian tour groups in our hotel almost constantly, who have been relentlessly noisy to the extent that many members of our family have often had trouble sleeping and have resorted to telling the front desk-to no avail. Disney have been as much use to us in this regard as a bicycle would be to a goldfish

2. Mass crowds sitting on the floor of shops. No. Just don't. FOR OBVIOUS REASONS OF SAFETY AND GOOD MANNERS!!!!

3. Constant queue jumping. The first few times the odd straggler brazenly tried to push ahead to their larger group, we let it go. Now? If you ain't with your group, tough s**t. That's what lines are for, you ain't getting past me, my patience is too far gone for that.

4. The chanting. The constant. Never. Ending. Chanting.

In many ways I don't think it's the fault of the individuals on the tours. They have every right to a fun vacation, but has Disney seriously not taken on board the years of complaints about the groups and their disruptive behaviour, mainly egged on by the tour leaders, and evidently tolerated by the many Portugease speaking Disney liasons accompanting the groups.

Of course they haven't, they are thinking only of the $ signs. Well guess what Disney, everyone else has paid to be here too, and have a right not to have their vacations disrupted.

Sort it out Disney!!!

Bummer. Hope they're mostly gone by August. I only remember seeing them a couple of times last July, and only chanting once, and not too loudly. No terrible misbehavior. What resort are you at?

I'm so sorry that they are ruining your vacation. I hope they are all gone in two weeks when I arrive! They do get SO annoying! I was wondering too what resort you are staying in...

I was at ll star spots when the cheer leader kept me up all night ( called the front deck about 4 or 5 times between 1 and 4 am. I was told by a manager that they had kicked out of number of people for being loud. I asked if I could move rooms and was able to move to AKL so quiet there, so maybe ask if there is some where more quiet to move

I am so sorry you're having to deal with this on your vacation. People can be so disrespectful and disorderly. I, too, and wondering what resort you're at. Either way, it is unacceptable.

I don't think you are exaggerating or being overly dramatic. After experiencing these groups during our visit in January 2010 I swore I would never go during that time period again.
For me the worst was the chanting. It was incredibly annoying!!!!! Especially in the line ups or shows where there was no escaping it.
It floors me that Disney is still allowing this behavior.

Wow! I'm very sorry you are having to deal with all that! If you can't get good sleep, it is really hard to enjoy yourself.

I think it's convinced me that we will revert to our usual practice of coming in October -the crowds are more manageable, the humidity more manageable and the tour groups nonexistant. And we will avoid the All Star like the plague and go back to the usual moderates

They key is to photograph their backpacks, flags or shirts that have their tour company name. Make notes or make clear in photo where you are & when.

Write to Disney Guest Services about your experiences and report all the groups tour companies. Details. Make it very clear their behavior and how they ruined your trip.

What I have been told is if they get complaints about particular tour companies (and they likely are the ones using younger people for their guides) they will ban them from coming to Disney. Now the kids will just move to other companies BUT companies will be more likely to maintain control if they know they face banning. A few years ago behavior started to improve as this happened but I have seen it get worse.

We had two years of horrible experiences at hotels in Jan/Feb so for a few years we moved offsite so we at least could sleep. The only way Disney will react is with reports, photos, letters and expressing extreme dissatisfaction. Hotels management will do nothing, they only care the rooms are filled. I was also told these groups get no hotel discounts but pay premium prices.

I am so sorry about your trip. The last time we were there with them - the Fantasmic line is exactly where they were the most annoying. Chanting very loudly - while laughing - they seemed to do it on purpose to annoy people. I can't imagine if they were in my hotel also. I would definitely go higher than your resort to complain.

Ahh yes... the summer Brazilian tour groups have been a thing for decades. I remember battling them as a CM back in the late 80's (20,000 leagues).

Geesh, I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this. I hoped that this problem had gotten better but apparently not.

So wrong !
Sorry OP...that's Awful, won't change unless and until people Post about it, write about it and speak up.

We had a bad experience at Pop in February with a group of about 100 quinceanera girls. Management did nothing about them yelling and running up and down the halls from 1-3am. Complete madness at the pool. Lifeguards seemed helpless to do anything.
They all had these purple backpacks and would just set them down everywhere - all over the food court, lobby, and gift shop.
They did have a designated eating area in the food court, so that was a pleasant surprise.
No problems in the parks other than the sheer numbers of large groups like this one. There had to be another 6-8 groups. I don't know what resort(s) they were at.

I'm so sorry about this situation. I hate loud - anything but music. Its not just BTG though, the cheerleader, etc. groups can be just as bad.

I'm surprised you saw them sitting on the floors of the shops. I saw CMs move people along for that. The line cutting is the worst!

I saw everything else though. It's one of the reasons I chose camping over all stars. Budget hotels mean tour groups sadly.
