Does anyone know when Big Thunder will open again? I can’t find that info on their website. I’m taking my mom Thursday and it’s her favorite ride

I see it closed until 10/19.

I don't recall BTMRR being closed in the month of October before. It must have broke down or some sort of OSHA issue.

The DTA shows that it is closed October 2-19, 2017!

I was surprised to see full blown wall up for a "refrub" considering all it has gone though fairly recently. Curios to know what they are working on.

No, preplanned maintenance. It has been a while since it was down.

it was just down in early August for around 5 days. we had to add an extra day on to our trip just so we could ride it in the morning before we headed home. the explosion/steam effect did not work on any of the times we rode it, though.

I asked a CM about this yesterday. They told me it would reopen on Oct. 20 (Saturday).

goofy's in DCA is also closed, those are my 2 favorite rides but we'll find plenty of other things to do. glad we had AP's a few years ago - we are less stressed about having to do everything, and still have not done everything yet...
