Big Thunder Refurb

I just noticed that the Park Hours Schedule is showing BTM closed for refurb Monday, November 28 to Wednesday, November 30. It wasn't showing a few weeks ago when I checked....

Anybody have any ideas as to what's being done and what the likelihood is that it will only take those 3 days? We are in the parks Monday - Saturday, so would like a chance to ride one of our favorites....

I noticed when we rode this weekend that the splash down at the end wasnt really working right. That would be my best guess as everything else seemed fine.

I had to break the news to my girls today....fortunately we'll have a partial day on Sunday...so I guess it'll be Big Thunder back to back to back to back.....

When we were there 11/15, they were having trouble with something - I heard them taking people off twice... It was open later in the evening, but I wonder if they were making temporary fixes.

Big fat bummer! Looks like we'll only have Sunday 11/27 to ride BTMRR. Our last night plan was to ride BTMRR during the fireworks. Looks like my family will just be stuck watching them with me.
