Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Front, Middle or Back?

My family cannot go on this ride unless we are in the very last 2 rows. It is usually my DH and I in the second to the last row while the girls are in the very last. One time we did sit near the front (when it was extremely busy and we didn't want to wait for the back) and vowed to not do that again, it was soooo slow up towards the front of the train.

Wow can't believe this but I disagree with everyone. :scared1:

Usually I love the back of coasters because you do get more of a "whipping" intense ride. However I have ridden in the back, middle and front of BTMRR and have to say the best ride is right in the front.

The little "tummy flipping" hills are much more intense when in the front. And I did get whipped around more there than in the back.
Infact I couldn't believe it was such a different ride that we rode it 5 times 2 weeks ago to make sure I felt was I was feeling....
And yep the front definitely gives you a better ride IMO.

Goes against all the rules to do so, not sure why it is this way on this coaster. :confused3

I definitely feel more tossed around on the front, and really, really prefer the back.

what drives me nuts is that we always get seated near the front because the CMs won't throw us a bone and seat us in the back when we request it. I don't request it much but it sure would be nice if they would let us do it every now and then.

Lucky for you guys, there are folks like me that prefer the middle and can live with the front, but hate the back. sadly, my vertigo issues make riding in the back a "no ,no" for me anymore.

If you are looking for more intense and whiplash do the back
