Just got back from the 10/11 cruise and thoroughly enjoyed this beach. It costs $15 for a party of four to get there by cab. (We paid $30 for a large van with seven people.)

There is no admission charge. They seat you at a table right on the beach. We ordered giant nachos and several soft drinks. It came to about $35.

The waves were better than Castaway Cay. Seashells everywhere. All kinds of activities from jetskis, to horseback riding, to a water trampoline, which my 7 year old loved. Crowd was very light.

A word of warning: there are bees everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE.

These bees would swarm to our soda cans to get the sugar. We had to keep all of our drinks covered.

These bees will not sting, and I mean NOT STING. One bee crawled inside my stepfather's soda can without him seeing it. He took a big swig, had the bee inside his mouth, and spit it out without any problem. Keep your drinks under your beach towels. I presume these bees are at the other beaches, since they're adjacent to each other.

When it was done, we took a dip in their swimming pool before leaving.

A word of warning to straying husbands: most of your Disney cruise will be spent in the company of 30 to 40-something moms. Mr. Sancho's beach was the only time I saw a lot of young nubile twenty year-olds. My wife told me I was wearing blinders next time. (Everyone was well-behaved. Definitely NOT a party atmosphere.)

I went here at the recommendation of Coz Minigolf Sally. The only problem was, we had such a good time at the beach, we didn't have time for mini golf. If you're out there, sorry, Sally.

Sounds great. Is there enough to do there to entertain a 3 year old? How is the snorkeling? We have our own gear.

Thanks!

Definitely good for a three year-old. My four year-old had a blast, and enjoyed being able to go over to the swimming pool. If you don't pack your own beach toys, they sell them there for a couple of bucks. My 17 month-old was actually more excited about this beach than Castaway Cay. Probaably because of the waves.

As for snorkeling, I'm not sure, but I don't think this is the place to be. You might want to find Coz Minigolf Sally's thread entitled "Post your Cozumel questions here". She could give you snorkeling recommendations. Mr. Sancho's Beach is actually not all that big. There couldn't have been more than a hundred people there.

Wow, sorry to hear about the bees...we didn't see one bee...no pests at all...and not any young girls in bikinis...lol.

There were all familys and 30 to 60 (ages) something couples.

Mr. Sancho's is an excellent place to play and eat!

As far as your three year old...I am not sure what you want to do to entertain him/her...normal beach stuff to do.

Went last February with our 9yr old son, rented the equipment for a small fee and had it for the whole day, We saw some fish, not alot but enought to keep us going for a few hours, hope this helps.
