We are leaving the frozen tundra on Saturday morning enroute to the Fort. I'd like to thank the posters on this board for all your information. I've been searching and reading the board for awhile now, and finally signed up. I never needed to post a question, because every one I thought of I was able to find great answers from previous posts!

We are hoping to be in the 300 loop, was there last year. 400 or 500 would be fine too. Got a rez for seven days starting on MLK day.

I've learned so much, like what kungaloosh is, how to sneak around abandoned areas, the quick ways to the grocery and beer store, and so much more. Thanks again everyone!

Have a great trip and safe travels. Bring a little sunshine home!

fugarwe,
WElCOME to the camp'n boards. You have a interesting name,,how/where did that come about ?
Hava safe and AWESOME trip and time at the Fort, :thumbsup2

Didja know that the fishing behind loop 300 at the lake is good for fishing ?(from time to time)

No fishing for me this time, but I'll watch others do it while I'm relaxing.

My name comes from my motorcycling exploits where quite often we become lost and wonder ?where are we?

I can't claim to be part of the ancient lost fugarwe indian tribe, but I'm happy to use the name.

Less than 24 hours till we take off. Looks like good weather until the TN/GA mountains then rain. At least it will be above freezing!

I'm gonna size up the need for a golf cart this year. Last year we were only there for three days on the way back from my mother's at the beach, so we spent all our time in the parks.

I may bring our enclosed trailer next year with our minivan and a cart. And maybe some bicycles. And a fire pit. Oh the list.....

Knowing what Kungaloosh is has no meaning unless you plan on making them and drinking one at FW.

In reality for us, it's more like "Where the fugarwe?"

All of our churchly obligations are taken care of in Conception. Most of the farms around there are my wife's family. Was married there, all the kids baptized, and probably be buried there if they are still doing that when I die.

And beer..... I'm going to the liquour store in a few minutes to buy up a bunch of Grain Belt Premium and Schell's, since I won't be finding that in FL!
