Right now I'm cooking Caribbean Jerk pork chops, and stir-fry veggies, and have potato salad to go with it for supper.

DH is watching and pre-NASCAR race stuff.

I'll probably be on the computer, or watch a movie or read a book in the bedroom later.

Nothing much exciting here.

I have a hot date with a much younger man!! He's handsome, smart and funny. Sure, he's only 4 feet tall and has a habit of using his sleeve for a napkin but it should be a good evening!!




DD is at a slumber party and DH taught a class out of town today. DS and I are going out to dinner and maybe a movie. It's so nice to be able to give him all of my attention.

Dh bought a new grill today so we are cooking out! I am sitting here with a glass of wine while he does all the work. Well I did get everything ready and I helped him in the yard today.

I bought new shoes today...4 inch heels, the highest I've ever bought. So it's just me, wearing my heels, drinking a bottle of merlot tonight. Hopefully not the full bottle.

I was thinking of going to bed and I was shocked to realize its not even 8 p.m.

I'm already in my pajama's . No plans. DD16 is out of town with her aunt and cousin, DS16 and DH are still at DS's golf tournament and probably won't be home for an hour or so. After spending all day in the wind and rain I am going to guess neither of them want to go out. I am tired. I had a long week last week with DD's hospitalization and then just "stuff" all this week. The dog woke me up at 2:30 AM and I couldn't get back to sleep so I am going to go to bed early.

The kids were at Dorney today so DH & I had a nice stroll through the historic district then we had a fabulous dinner at an outdoor cafe' where I got tipsy on some wine and giggled a bit too loud.

DH dropped me off home and is off picking up a truckload of kids from Dorney while I goof off on here with the puppy in my lap. Tonight we will try to get rid of the extra children, maybe watch some DVR American Idol with the kids then off to sleep.

Have fun at the club for me, we've got 6 years on the clock before DD is in college then we're back in the city dancing the night away again

Walking a doggy I'm looking after for a friend, and he's my cheap date for the night. Going to find something to watch on Netflix with him cuddled up! Had a long morning, was out sailing early...

The new lawyer in my office asked me on Friday what my plans were for the weekend. Hes 27, not married (has a girlfrield), no kids....

I said, "Oh, I don't know, not to much. Dh is working on Saturday, so..."

His reply "Oh yeah, I keep forgetting, you have kids - THAT SUCKS!!!!"


He ment it in a ... "Sucks that you can't just get up and do what you want when you want because you have kids to concider..." kinda way, but it was just funny the way he said it. And all I could think was "You'll be there at some point kiddo!!!!" LOL (Hes only 2-3 years younger than me, but theres a world of difference between people with kids and people without.).

Just got home from ds baseball game (they won 5-2 and are still in first place) and stopped and got a pizza. Fun fun!
