The only reason I'm interested in the race is because people have speculated about the Princess moving even though the dates were already announced. Since that will be my first 1/2, I'm just hanging around to see if it's moved or not.

In 2010 the dates were announced for the 2011 Princess as March 4-6.. and published on the program...BUT no it changed.

I think it is smart to wait and I am too at least until April 23 when I will decide Princess or Jan full or maybe even the new event IF the tell us by then.

I really hope it's not a tri I'm not that strong of a swimmer (but I can scuba!!!) and my bike certainly isn't tri-worthy...but it's SUPER cute I just had a visual of myself in a tri, kicking along in the water with a snorkel and a noodle and pedaling along on my single-speed cruiser bike. hmmmm, maybe I should take some lessons and get better at swimming and get a more respectable bike and "tri" for one of those sprint-distance tri's...might be a fun new challenge!

If it's a tri, I am most certainly out. I'll be happy for those that are excited and get to participate, though. I'll just throw myself a teeny tiny pity party first.

A tri would be a BIG annoucement, plus it fits with the "coldest/hottest clue"
The coldest part is the swim, and the hottest is the run, and the line between them could be a road for the bike.

People may not want to bring their bikes to Orlando, however, I'm sure Disney would be more than happy to rent out bikes for people that needed them.
