I didn't realize this was so popular. We can't get an adr here for July. Thought this would be an easy one. Is this restaurant really good? I've not heard much about it.

We went for the first time last September. I liked it, but we just got burgers for an early dinner. We're not drinkers, so I can't comment on the beer.

It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of World Showcase during Food & Wine for a couple of hours, and walk down the Boardwalk.

Thanks. We have walked by but never ate and thought we'd give it a try. Guess we'll keep trying. We were thinking the same thing in having just a burger night.

Thanks for the pics, much appreciated.

Unless something has changed recently, I don't think you can make ADRs for Big River Grille.

Ah, forgot to mention that part! Yes, they just take walk ups, as far as I know.

They have their own website.

I believe you can call the restaurant directly and make reservations 30 days in advance

Thank you guys so much. I love this site. You guys are a huge help.

I think it is a Gordon Birsch brewery under a different name. We have them here and have always had a good meal there. I have never gone to the Big River Grille though. I bet it's pretty good.

I thought the place was a 6 out of 10 IMHO....Which actually is pretty good..

Food was good. I had a steak, son had ribs * I think, wifs had a burger w/gluten free bun, and DD had a burger..... This along with some cool cold, micro brews and it made for a nice evening...Also we were seated in roughly 5 minutes and this after walking up at around 6:30 too. We did eat in the lounge/bar area but this was ok to us.

Food is just okay. Had the burger and it was nothing special. Beers are solid to style but nothing mind blowing.
If there is a wait for tables, seating at the bar area is seat yourself if there is something available. you can order from the full menu too.

I have eaten at both and I didn't think BRG was anywhere near as nice as Gorden Birsch. It may be the same parent company but it was a different atmosphere and a different menu

I agree. The food was very unimpressive -although I did like the beer. If you don't care about the beer, I would go to ESPN ...the food is similar, but better in my opinion. And that surprised us.

In looking at the pictures above in this thread the burgers looked pretty plain and just like any other anyplace else at Disney....

Food is just OK, beers are OK. The prices tens to be cheaper than other places. If you cant get it, its no great loss.

Good to know. I have always wanted to eat there, but we took DD to Gordon Birsch for her 21st and DH did not care for it.

They don't take ADRs but they do take call ahead seating and you can call ahead up to 2 months in advance. That's what we did for our trip in May.

Unless things have changed, you can never get ADR here. they are a walk-up only. Or I think maybe you can get day-of reservations by calling.

I ate here when with my husband when he was in Orlando for a conference. Very underwhelming in my opinion. Plain food in a plain atmosphere. We ate there because of location. However, we are somewhat food snobs (not that we need fancy food, but we like good fresh high quality ingredients prepared well).
