Tell me about it. I haven't seen very much info abou this restaurant. I need one more TS and I thought this might be a good one. The outdoor seating and being on the boardwalk are appealing.

According to the Big River Grille's website, this is what it lists for starters on their menu.

Jalapeño spinach cheese dip* Spinach and onions blended with melted jalapeño jack cheese. Served
hot with tortilla chips. 9.50
asiago artichoke & crab dip Blended with creamy cheese, topped with pico de gallo. Served with
pita chips. 12.50
chicken Quesadilla A large tortilla with ancho flavor, grilled chicken, peppers, onions, tomatoes and pepper
jack cheese. Served with sour cream and guacamole. 9.99
beef Nachos Tortilla chips, creamy pepper jack cheese, sliced jalapeños, topped with pico de gallo and sour
cream. 11.99

This was the lunch menu. The dinner menu looked the same for the appetizers(starters).

I've seen the menu. I was looking for some opinions.

It appears that BRG only gets so-so reviews. Thanks BobP for the link. I think I'm more tempted to 'skip it' rather than 'try it'.

We have eaten there once for lunch Labor Day weekend 2008 and enjoyed it. Nothing special, but we would certainly eat there again. We are going to use it as a back up for this June if ESPN is backed up. You can call them direct and make a reservation - if I remember correctly, they don't do ADRs through Disney.

Though I cant tout ESPN for their service(its hit or miss), I do think the food is better than BRG. We have been to both several times and prefer ESPN food.

I found this out yesterday!! CM couldn't find it in the the system for me to make an ADR- supervisor evenutally confirmed I would need to call them direct! Have now decided on Beache n Cfeam instead!

I go to BRG at least once every trip to WDW. The food is very good for what it is (bar food, not terribly fancy), the beers are great and I have always gotten good service. If you have not been there, it is definitely worth giving it a try.

(And, it is much better than ESPN Club, which I think is just horrible.)

Off BRG Topic - Just to note for anyone reading:
Beaches and Cream uses up a TS credit on the DDP, not CS as one might expect. For a burger and ice cream, it is one of the least 'valuable' uses of a DDP TS credit that I have researched.

BRG Overall Opinion:
BRG food used to be alot better, has slipped noticeably in the last 4 years or so. The outside seating is a nice option. BRG is good for a beer and a burger, but that's about it (IMHO). And it is often available for walk-ups in a pinch, as it isn't available through the WDW ADR system.

first off, hello Fellow Canuck! :)

We *love* this place. We typically stay at the BCV, so it's right accross the pond from us, and we often eat here more than once per trip. You're right, seating right on the boardwalk makes it all the more awesome! AND if you're interested, you can inquire about a brewery tour which they'll usually be glad to give you if the place is not too busy. In case you want to gauge where this is coming from, we usually travel in a large group ranging from 5 years old all the way to 60 years old and we all love the place.
