We just went on Saturday for lunch and had a terrific time.
We shared the beer cheese soup and the honey dijon chicken sandwich, and I had a stout and the red ale. The food was fantastic, great grill flavor in the chicken and the meat itself was very moist. The soup was very cheesy, and both items were sized large enough that we were stuffed.
I think the thing that impressed me the most was the beer, however. The stout was off of a cask and served at the correct temperature, around 55-60F. It was a great, complex stout with a lot of coffee and chocolate flavors. And the red ale was much better than any "red ale" I've had at other American type restaurants. It had a great bitter note to it, and was actually a red ale instead of a seemingly red tinted lager.
Service was great, as well - prompt, always had refills, and when a bug fell in my beer (sat outside), our server brought me a new one very quickly.
Anyway, FH and I really enjoyed this restaurant and we're glad we finally went. We'll be going back as soon as we can.
