has anyone ever bought a land sea package , but came in 1 day early to the resort. they would not ad on to my package.. had to book room seperate with different reas #
my question is
:
how and when do i rebook for the start of my package ?
time place and wondering about documents when do i do them?
the reason we went a day early was to get an early start to the land part of it in the parks..now i am thinking we will be in a line all morning any way??
thanks

i put this on the resort board because i got no answers here can it be moved back please?

What you have actually done is to book 2 packages...that's no problem. You will get to WDW (if you fly, I assume you'll use Magical Express). You will check in at the hotel. The next morning, you will have a courtesy check out and check back in on paper....if you explain this to the person at the desk who checks you in, she can probably set it up so that you will stay in the same room and not actually have to move despite technically doing a second check in.

It is likely that you will have to officially check in at the start of the second ressie so that DCL can check all your cruise docs. However, this is a 5 minute process and really shouldn't mess up your vacation. They MIGHT be able to do it when you initially check in, but don't count on it.

We did the land/sea in April and also arrived the night before to get a jump start on the parks. We booked a free room at the Hampton Inn with hubby's points and carried in only our swimsuits and pj's. The morning of our land/sea we went directly to the Beach Club. We checked in and they took all our bags in storage- we got to MGM by boat by 10 am. We didn't do our Cruise check-in till day 3, which was pushing it. I didn't realize that the Cruise desk in your hotel is only open certain hours.

If you're coming in late just to sleep, maybe you could hold off on the big unpacking until the following morning, so you don't have to move twice. Or try staying off-premises like we did. It would definitely save you some $$$

Enjoy!

Another option is to price out the land and cruise portions separately....that way you could have as many nights at WDW as you would like in the accomodtions that you want (it does not have to be tied in with your cabin choice like it does when you book the land/sea package). You may find that it prices out cheaper to book a land ressie and then a separate cruise ressie....

We did land and sea in April staying at the Poly. I called the day before to see if we could stay in the same room for the extra day. Upon check in I made sure we were in the same room again. I went to the check in desk around 7am the next day and got new key to the workd cards and we were set to go! (Too early in the morning for a line up.

That's too bad that they won't extend for you any longer .....We did the land/sea 3 times in 99,00, and 02, each time we were able to extend by one day no problem.
