Big people long weekend.....

Well we are thinking about doing a big people long weekend 3-4 days. We live in Niagara and want to have some time for us. Well any ideas on where to go?? I have thought New York, hubby said Vegas, I think even Toronto but we have been there so many times. Any ideas where to go would be great. Ohh and we want to do this soon.

DH just surprised me with a weekend in Vegas. It was a great deal through Southwest vacations out of Buffalo.

Not sure how soon you want to go--but Toronto is always fun and in July (16-19 I believe) the Just for Laughs festival is on. We had a blast when we went . It is a riot . You buy tickets for various shows-- I recommend the Gala at Massey Hall and then there are also a lot of things happening on the streets downtown that are free shows etc. I would stay right downtown to enjoy it all. The Eaton Centre is downtown and great for shopping too. Disney store there With the money you save on the shorter distance, more money to spend
We enjoyed our time at the festival so much I am thinking of buying tickets for DD for Father's DAy.
That is my suggestion. But whatever you do-- a trip with big people only sounds great

New York is a fantastic city, and you can get tickets from Buffalo on Jet Blue for $49 one way. It's easy to take transit around, no need for a rental car (and the parking would be horrible anyway). Broadway, museums, be in the audience for a tv show, Empire state building at night, etc. Can't go wrong. Only problem is hotels in Manhattan can be expensive, but ones in the financial district are usually cheaper on the weekends.

Our big people weekend is always Vegas! We have gone every year for the last 5 years, and about 5 times sporadically prior to that! We love it there, and if hubby wants to take you there, I say go for it! This time of year is hot, but fabulous for pool time. Stay on the strip, and you won't have to rent a car, although we love the freedom of having a car. Free valet parking, just have some bills for tips. Enjoy your getaway!

I would go with Vegas in heartbeat ...... u can get some real great deals right now booking directly with the hotels on the strip...excalibur/mgm/nyny ect...... if we were not going to wdw in july we would be going to Vegas.... enjoy your trip where ever it lands u......

Okay so I am offered a big people holiday, and I do the numbers and all I think is for that price all 4 of us can go back to Disney!!! Is that bad? I think there is a problem with me? I actually told him this is what I would rather do!
