Big News?

Well that was a let down. The new DisneyLiNK looks very cool but it hardly qualifies as big BIG BIGGER news and I haven't quite figured out how all of this relates to someone's dreams. The fact that so many of us are scratching our heads over this is proof that this was poorly executed. I was expecting a link to a news conference of some sort of announcement. If anything the banner ad on yahoo should have been prior to the announcement of the first family and the castle stay. At least that would have made sense. This is just bewildering at best!

Oh no I hope i did anger the Disney Gods with my statement!!! My trip is paid for so I think I am still good then!!!

Not shaving my legs for the next announcement!! Will also remove my packed bag from the front door!

I think the page with the pics is the new website. At the bottom there are links to the new website. You can create letterhead, screensaver and get a disneylink for your desktop.

That is not new, tho.

Okay, when I first saw it, I thought maybe the "big news" was that they were making new live action films starring these actors in these roles....not what I was hoping for as the "big new" but oh well.

But it is just pictures!!?? How is that "big news"??

I'm at work, was super excited about the news, then I saw it. I was going to write performance evaluations for my staff, but now I'm in a bad news.

It's Disney's fault if someone get a bad PE.

well,all i can say is thank-you for this forum or i would think i was going crazy all by myself but as i can see we are all crazy for waiting, and like me double checking or maybe checking back 5 or 6 times cause of course it must of been ME missing something. well what can i say maybe disney owns a piece of all the nut houses in the world and trying to send us there. so thank-you disney for getting me there just one more step closer.

The saddest part this whole mini-drama is the following.

Disney says this morning, "Tune in at 1 p.m. to find out whose dreams are coming true."

At 1 p.m. we see celebrities, and little else.

So the celebrities dreams are coming true. Well, that's good to know, Scarlett has been a bit down on her luck lately, what with all those good looks and millions of dollars.

We get to see celebrities and their dreams, when in fact Disney is a place we all escape to in an effort to get-away from the celebrity driven world. Now Disney puts us right back there.

Excellent work buy the marketing gurus on this one.
