Big mouths bug me

So we were trying to keep our vacation a secret. I wanted to surprise my oldest son in a special way. We did very good.
I am getting married at Disney next year. I have been planning this wedding/vacation and my son has not even picked up on it at all. Until a few weeks ago at a family gathering, my future SIL's hubby vehemently stated they were not going to ******* Disney to attend our wedding in front of my son! Nice going man...I really appreciate that...

He sounds like a real peach.

I was able to keep a Disney Cruise from my kids for the entire time. BUT, there were 2 slips...my hubby said "Well you'll be seeing those kind of fish in the Bahamas"

And then I said to my hubby on the DAY we were packing to leave the resort, "well once we get on the ship, I want you to shut your cell phone OFF."

My kids are 4 and 8 and didn't catch either slip up. They were blissfully unaware. And they were shocked.

Boy I would just be glad that he wasn't going to be there Good luck with your wedding plans and just have fun.

Yeah it kinda makes me glad that they won't be there. We knew that they wouldn't go but we had to invite them cuz they're family but ya know he didn't have to be a jerk about it!
I've had this happen before too...Surprise parties ruined and stuff like that.
