Big Love premiered last night

I have noticed that on several shows. They just start back up and have a few episodes then that season is over

This weeks episode... holy cow! I cried like a baby when Cathy died... poor Joey. Wanda.. oh Wanda, how bittersweet that she made herself 2nd wife as she realized she could not do justice to the family as 1st wife...

and Nicki... Nicki... Nicki...Nicki... oh my I love how this character is evolving. She has always been manipulative, dishonest and holier than thou...but you knew she was damaged by her upbringing. To see her soften as her boss showed interest was lovely.

Margene..overrun by all the children, used as childcare labor in her own family and being overwhelmed by it all. But then she uses her powers to work over Nicki..... wow....

Barb.. .. Barb is letting it be known.. as if to say "Hey, I did not want this multiple marriage thing, but dang it I am here now and I WILL make it work and I am not going to take any crap about it"

Bill... oh Bill he really confuses me the most.

Sarah.. I am sorry that she lost the baby, but hope she will continue to stand against polygamy

ooooo the Greens and Roman.... Now these people are EVIL... just EVIL

can't believe the season is almost over... it sure went too fast.

I did not realize that Nikki was also using Margene's name. Perhaps they just threw that twist in there now - make it more interesting.

If she does have an affair, eventually they will all find out or she will confess. I wonder how the polygamist/mormons handle this. I guess it's all about forgiving.

I forgot about Cathy. That was sad and not what I expected was going to happen at all. I thought Wanda was going to start playing an evil part and start planning things against Cathy. Doesn't Cathy have a twin sister? Perhaps we will see her more now (I forgot what her role was though).

I had noticed that at work they wern't calling her Nikki, I think they called her Marge. I also didn't put it together, I think because they caller her Margene or Margie. How did we all miss it. I knew she wasn't using her name, I just figured that Mommy got her an alias and papers.

Don't ya'll think that Wanda had a bit of an idea what was going on with Cathy? I got the vibe that she was setting Cathy up. I think Wanda is creepy. ::shudder::

I'm kind of annoyed with Sarah. Her friend Heather is being left high and dry now that Sarah isn't pregnant. She is just like "Well, I'm not going to ASU now. Good luck!" Hello? She was going for YOU!!! Sheesh, selfish much?

Nikki, she's just a little off, but she is loving that her boss likes her. I was actually surprised she went out with him, I'm looking forward to see how this plays out.

Margene, she needs to stand up and say "I'm not going to be the only one stuck at home everyday!!" I'm proud of her for what she did to Nikki.

Bill is falling deeper and deeper into the "darkness" of plural marriage/compound like behavior. I don't like that. It's like he is turning into Roman in a way.

I think so. Roman was talking about their father and childhood. I'm pretty sure they are brother and sister. I don't think that was ever revealed before.

That woman was the grandma in Napoleon Dynamite and Heather was also in the movie. I know that movie had Mormon roots and it made me wonder if the creators are somehow linked to the creators of ND. I'm too lazy to look it up though apparently.

When Kathy jumped in the truck and her hair got stuck I did not think she meant to do that...like you know for the show. I kept hoping she was going to open the door, fix her hair and speed off away from them........but sadly that is not what happened. Horrible to have her break her neck like that....

And ITA about Sarah...she is so conflicted.

Oh Yeah!! I am so excited that other people are watching...this is one of my favorite shows. I watch with my sister wives every week (kidding!!!!), haha.

I was sad when Kathy died too, she was so sweet and anyone willing to put up with Wanda must have a heart of gold. And Nikki!?!? What is she doing? They did such amazing casting on this show, everyone is so perfect for their part- I say that every week and my husband always laughs and says "okay we get it, they have great "crazy" actors!" haha.

Oh no!! I just read this...only 3 weeks! That sure went fast. But yeah, she introduces herself right at the beginning as Margene Huffman so that they wouldn't find out she was Roman Grant's daughter during the trial work. You must have just missed it. And agreed...Roman and the Greens give me the Heebie Geebies!

Thank goodness someone else heard that too! I thought I had made it up in my mind! seriously!!

and I really do think that last episode was the first time that we heard that Selma and Roman were brother and sister!

these people are soooo twisted.... The Greenes had Roman shot, Roman had the Greenes beaten.... and to find out Selma and Roman are related....great googlie mooglies!

Nicki seems so desperate to please her evil parents and have them approve of her, even though she knows that doing what they want might not be the best course of action. Mary Kay Place does a great job as Adaleen. She is so manipulative and power hungry.

I like the way Nicki rebelled against having baby after baby and started taking the birth control pills. When Barb said she would have more babies if she could, I didn't believe her. I think she's glad not to have to handle the little ones all the time like Margene.

When Cathy moved back to the compound after speaking out, I knew it was only a matter of time before she ended up dead. It made no sense to me that she would go back there, knowing that they would be out to get her for testifying. I read somewhere (TV Guide maybe) that more than one person might die this season. When I saw Frank with the bag over his head, I thought he was definitely gone, but I guess they wouldn't want to lose someone quite that mean and entertaining.

It was Roman but Bill had a hand in it telling them where they were and starting up more trouble between the two.
