wow - you have some amazing photos and your family is so cute

look like your son had a blast!

I am in awe of your pictures! You have captured some wonderful memories, your family is beautiful :goodvibes Thank you so much for sharing. Looks like you all had a great time!

I love them all. Great pics. I really love the character interaction that you captured. Looks like you all had a marvelous time!!

Thanks so much for posting your pictures! They made me cry - especially the ones where your sons are posed on the bank of the river at POR and the older one is holding the baby. So sweet. I can't wait to take our grandchildren on our next family trip in May - your older son reminds me so much of our older grandson, and we have a new baby in our family just about the age of yours, so it was easy to imagine the same looks of wonder in our pictures next year. Your sons are obviously well loved - very lucky boys!

Ok how old are your boys?? They are beautiful.

I absolutley love the picture of your oldest feeding the baby, so cute. The pics with Pluto are the best!!! I love to see the characters interact that way with kids. How did you find the 7 dwarfs all together!!??

You took the words right outta my mouth on both points!

TDB, your oldest son is so photogenic! Looks like he has no problem making friends, either. :thumbsup2

Great photos!

You guys are too sweet.

My guys are 3 1/2 and 7 weeks old. :goodvibes

My camera is a canon digital rebel xt. I really like it but am not real good with all the manual settings yet. I really want to take a photography class. i just love taking pics. It drives most people crazy b/c my camera is glued to me everywhere I go.lol :goodvibes I say the memories are worth 1000 words when looking at old pics. ;)

Beatiful children and pics!!!! On a side note, how was it with a 3 1/2 yr old and newborn???? That is about the ages I will be taking next Oct, I am curious if it was very hectic?

I am just learning so I don't know much. It is hard trying to teach yourself..lol The main thing I did was switch my camera to the first manual mode so that I could change my ISO and control when I wanted my flash to go off. Night shots need NO flash when you are trying to pick up bright lit colors. It will take away all the real coloring in the pic. Change the ISO up to 800-1600. I have a little of both depending on the lighting.. If you are propping the camera or have a tripod though you can keep your settings much lower. 1600 takes the pic the fastest so that you don't risk camera shake and blurry pics but your pics may come out a little more noisy with that setting..though not bad. 100 takes the prettiest pics as far as the least noise but I only use that setting for bright day lit pics as it takes pics the slowest and you will end up with blurred ones at night.

Give that a try with just some random night pics and see what ya think. If you can ever find anywhere to prop your camera and lower the iso that is always good too. :)

Oh and for my night time parade pics I did use my flash in those for the most psrt b/c there was not enough light and since they were moving they would have all come out blurred without it even with my iso set way up.

Ok, hope that did not sound confusing. I am not sure of all the lingo and such b/c like I said I have just been playing with it and trying to teach myself. ;)

Thanks so much for the tips and pointers! I'm going to try out my camera's manual mode this weekend and do some night shots. I would be absolutely thrilled if they came out even half as nice as yours did! I'm a beginner too...there is so much to learn, but I guess you have to start out somewhere, right?!

Thanks again!!
