Big family woes

my uncle lives in TN.. I am thinking we might dirve to Knoxville.. 10-11 hours.. get there in the morning, hang out with my aunt.. nap while she plays with the kids, have some dinner, and then leave early the next morning, get into orlando 6 hours later. not too bad that way. QUOTE]

You may want to double check your travel time from your uncle's house in Knoxville. We live outside Montgomery, Alabama and WDW is about a 8 hour drive for us. Knoxville is at least 3 hours north of us, so I believe that would make your travel time to WDW from your uncle's to be about 11 hours. You could put in his address and the resort address in Map Quest and it will tell you exactly.:)

I dont think you need the hoppers even with small kids. You can still leave and re enter the same park after they have had time to rest. That would be a nice savings there.
You could also look into renting points for a disney villa

Take a deep breath and have fun planning.

I agree about not needing park hopper. We would never use it, because we find it ALOT of work just to go to the park, leave to take an afternoon break, and then go back to the park. Let alone going to 2 parks in one day  THats a lot of work!!!

You know I was thinking in my head, go to Atlanta, for a stop, and then it's about 6 hours from there.. the entire trip is 10 according to mapquest. Last time my friend and I drove, that was what we did. we drove into Atlanta, hit the underground mall and i made her check out the coke factory, then we got to disney six hours later. my bad!!! lol but thank you for pointing it out! :thumbsup2
