Big Family Vacation

Well I have never done a Trip report before so figured I would for our first big family trip. This trip was roughly a year or so in planning solely by myself basically so I tried hard to make it good for the parents and the kids. We had 4 days at Disney and 2 days at Universal/IOA. Now here is the family... Some pics are older then others but found best I can....

That is all of us. We live roughly 190 miles from Orlando in Naples, FL so we drove there its about 3 or so hour drive. Mom did not want to rent a van so we took 2 cars. My moms Yaris which was packed to the brim with all the stuff and we also took my sister boyfriend's car which was a Volvo.

Day 1: Saturday Aug 2nd -
I woke up early and was all in the vacation mindset to leave for a fun time. Our plan for that day was to leave by 11 and go straight to Chucky Cheese and then Mom and I would leave at 4 to check into condo and get a cake and then come back to Chuck-E-Cheese for rest of the time we are there. Well there are about 0 things on this vacation that went to plan.
This was my Nephew, Warren's Birthday so my sister wanted to go to Chuck-E-Cheese for it. We kicked around the idea of going on Sunday but about 2 days before we left we changed plans to include Universal on our vacation rather then Disney water park. So first day was Chuck-E-Cheese. We left the house around 12:30 and made our way to Orlando. We had 2 stops at rest stops so we were a little slow. Matt cut his leg somehow at work the day before we left, so in the morning he went to the Emergency room to get stitches so they were a little bit behind us.

We got to Orlando right at about 4:00 so I said alrighty we will go to Condo first and get checked in and unpacked and meet Jamie, Matt, Warren, and Jordan at Chuck-e-Cheese after.

I found a decent deal for a condo in Emerald Island for $550 for the week. It was a pretty nice place I must admit and check in was pretty quick. We went up to the office and just needed our license numbers and we got 2 flier thingys to put on the window for access to complex. They had key-less entry so that was smooth just went right up to the condo, punched in number and we were in. It was 3 bedroom and 2 bath with a pullout couch. Sleeping arrangements didn't go so smoothly because no one wanted to sleep on the pullout. So once we got in I put my one bag in the Master bedroom which was mine. Sister slept in kids room which had Disney blankets and 2 twin beds. Julie found a little blow up bed that Kayla slept on inbetween the 2 twin beds. Mom went back and forth between the twin with Warren and the couch. Jamie and Matt were in the last room with a queen bed and the baby.

Once we had everything unpacked we left and went to Chuck-e-Cheese on International Blvd where the rest of family were waiting. They had ordered a pizza and had one slice waiting for Kayla as I told them I probably wouldn't be eating. Mom got in and ordered a pizza and I convinced her to get me some tokens so I can go play games. We got I think 50 tokens and someone was nice enough to hand us a coupon so we used that. I gave some to my niece and I took the rest. I was not at all impressed with this Chuck-e-Cheese. It was small and every game had a line to play basically. After I got maybe like 30 tickets from playing the basketball game they had there and this ball drop thingy trying to get the stupid jackpot I decided to try this balloon popping game. It was pretty cool game and then I ran out of tokens when the balloon was about half way from popping. So I ran over put my CC in to get some tokens and it said something like its expired? Yea my cards expired even though the date is 2 years from now. So I went over to mom and said I need to pop this balloon and this thing wont take my CC gimme money pls thx. So she refuses at first and I persist saying its a dire imperative that this balloon gets popped I am on a mission at this point. So she gives in and gives me $5 to get more tokens. So I keep popping tokens in and the balloon gets a little closer to popping. Looking at what I have left I realize there is no chance I will pop this unless I get the instant pop. So I have 6 tokens left and put one in and BAM insta-pop with 5 left. So it takes a good like 80 seconds or so for this thing to pop its just there making a bunch of woo woo sounds and blowing some air into it waiting for it to hit those spikes. Finally it pops and it gives me my like 200 or so bonus tickets. It was a fun time at Chuck-e-Cheese. After I won that everyone was pretty much tapped out so we stuck our tickets in the little sucker upper to find our total. I had roughly 660 ish. So I got like a ball or 2 and a comb for Kayla and 2 Fun dips for me and her and a sucker. So we were done after that and left for the condo.

Day 2: Aug, 3rd - Animal Kingdom

This was first day at parks. We all agreed to get there early at park opening and do what we can and then go back to condo and rest. We as I said earlier not one thing went to plan. I woke up around 7am and I got in shower and got rdy and by 7:30 ish I was rdy to leave by 8:15. Well everyone else got rdy and we left around 9:30 when parks open at 9:00. O how unhappy I was. But I knew this was the first day and it was also for Animal Kingdom which didn't have much to it anyway so we should be ok. It was roughly 5 min drive from condo to AK which was nice. Mom and I both have AP as we were planning two trips this year and saving the money from parking was worth it to me alone to just get them. So I rode with my sister to give them my pass for free parking. Btw they don't check ID like they do at Universal so me riding with them was a moot point.

We got in the park and the entire time I was thinking fast pass Safaris and hop on Everest and Dino. At last second I said well everyone can wait in line at Safaris we wouldn't have to child swap that. So I ran over to get Everest fps and I met them at Dinosaur. We asked Matt to watch the baby during this ride as I knew this would be a photo that I wanted a family pic for. He said that was fine and all of us walked right onto the ride with little wait. We did get a child swap thingy also. Warren was crying at the point where we were about to get on he does not like rides he is scared of almost everything. Kayla who is 5 was brave and Julie which is her mom kept asking if she was scared and she said no. I rolled my eyes at my nephew but we all got on and had a decent picture with both kids heads in their moms laps lol. When I first rode that ride earlier in the year I was scared of it and I was 25 so I knew it would be interesting picture. We all got off and met up with Matt he was going to use the baby swap and Julie said she would go on again and Warren refused to. Kayla after almost every ride said "can we do that again". This ride was no exception she was all rdy to go but baby swap only had 2 so I said no line lets go and me and the kids went on while mom bought the photo. We actually got on same time as they did with the baby swap. I actually rly enjoy this ride and I know Kayla had a good time even though she probably will never remember any of this stuff.

After Dinosaur we decided to go to the "kids" land there next to Dinosaur. It was about 11:00am or so and mom and I got on the whirly rollercoaster which I actually liked a lot. Wait was 10 mins or so nothing drastic and the kids went on the dumbo type dino ride and played some games. The time was up so I went to get fps for the safaris. Once again second guessing myself to get that or the rapids idk. But I went for the safaris and they were like up already. It was like for 11:40 to 12:40 and our Everest was for 11:30 to 12:30. So I got back to the kids place and Jamie wasn't happy and Kayla said can I do that referring to the dumbo type ride in the sky. Jamie said NO you did it 5 times and was already getting aggravated I have no idea why as I had been gone getting fps. I grabbed Kayla by the hand as I knew her mom would monopolize her time and we ran to get on before he closed the gate as there was 0 wait at all and they were loading. It was a fun little ride it wasn't as good as One Fish Two fish but it was pretty cool and she enjoyed it. After that we still had time before Everest was up and it was hot so I said ok lets go do the water ride rq on standby. We had like 50 ish min wait and mom watched the baby as she did not want to get wet. I rly hated the wait and it was even worse knowing we would miss our window for the fps, I also did not get a baggy for my phone even though I reminded mom to bring some or buy some at grocery the night before and she did not. But it was a pretty cool ride. I am a big guy so ofcoarse I got soaked on the ride as it swung around in my direction. As soon as that splash I was like UH OH no more brand new cellphone. I had worn my bathing suit that day but there are holes in the pocket and I am thinking I do not have a cellphone for sure after that. But I did a good job of holding on to the phone and pocket and positioning it so water did not get in so it did not break. After we got off we found mom and shes all flipping out because some lady took some chairs and ppl are running to tables all kinds of stress over nothing. It was like 1:30 by that time and we were all upset, hot, and yelling at each other. LoL yup on the first day in first 3 hours. But we said alright how about we go do Everest then I will get passes for later for safaris and mom can come back if she wants no one rly wanted to go and sister was saying "I am Hungry" and she was upset we did not want to go eat. My main thing was why eat in the hot sun when we can just go do the rollercoaster real quick and then leave and sit down for same price in A/C somewhere else. So it was agreed and we got on the coaster. This was adults only as my sister let my nephew off the hook and he did not have to do it. Kayla was not big enough yet although she definately would of done it had she been big enough. Mom, Julie, and I went on first and we didn't get the child swap as they were being jerks about it saying need kid here and kid was there I guess and he said ok bring the second person here and I will hand them the pass and I guess it was a pain idk I was already in line for ride while that was going on. We only ran into 2 or so ppl being real pains about the child swap and weirdly enough it was that and RnR which most ppl would need them because of height req being high. But they had their fps that I gave them and had 1 extra for Warren because he would not go. Julie I guess was upset they asked if I wanted his ticket to go and mom called me back saying can Julie go and I said come on she said no and I said come on and she finally came and I had Kayla's ticket also who wasn't tall enough so I gave her that. In line we found out she left my moms $300 Sunglasses on the water ride in the middle tube thingy. Was a big shame actually. Matt makes a comment says "$300 pair of glasses? that doesn't sound like your mom". I made a comment later about how a person that's known you for 3 minutes can sum you up like that as cheap. But yea she works at a eye center thingy so she gets a free pair a year free. So in the line my Jamie is all upset. We all assume its because she wants to eat and no one else is rly rdy to yet so she thinks we are only doing what we want to do.

So we get off the ride and we all agree lets go eat somewhere outside where we can sit in A/C and what not so mom wants me to go get the fps for safaris again since we missed before and I will meet them at the car. So I do and they are for almost right then actually like 2:00 to 3:00 I think it was and it was almost 2:00. So I get out to the car and I check my phone. Have like 5 missed calls and some texts I have not seen. Listen to the msg she left and she said they got a second wind and want to do its tough to be a bug and the safaris so don't go to the car. As I am standing at the car I call her back and say yup ok im omwb.

She is outside meeting me now and cant get back in as I have her tickets for getting the fastpass. So she is calling me over and over trying to make sure I don't pass her. We get back in and head to the Safaris to meet up with them and we have the fastpass so we get on. Was a pretty cool ride I must admit. It was kinda late so we didn't get to see much. Kayla says over and over "can I pet him" and "is he going to eat us" its pretty funny. After we get off we get a strawberry popsycle to tie us over and we head to its tough to be a bug. There was 0 wait here also we just walked right on. Was kinda suprised for a Sunday my thinking before was this would be a rough day even though I knew being Summer all days pretty much same. After that we left the park and headed back to the condo. I decided to take my moms car and went to get some baggies and we were thinking of doing Outback for dinner so I grabbed some menus and got the menus of surrounding places near the Winn Dixie close to where we were staying. We ended up with Outback that night. I had been on a diet for almost a year so I said I kinda want a lobster tail. So my Julie was whining about something I could hear and no idea what so I said ok I want the Outback special with a lobster tail addon and she said I just told her no to that. So that is why she was whining. Now I have my own job and was paying for my own dinner where Julie doesn't and all so I said alright you give me $5 and I will get the lobster meal and mom said that was fine. So that pretty much ended our Sunday. Next day is Epcot.

Day 3: Mon Aug 4th -

So once again I am awake before 7am roughly and I get rdy on time. Once again family is late and we don't get to park till later. Matt realised he had no money and they had spent it all first cpl of days. So we went searching for a bank in the morning. We find one and he comes out saying he has no money till Thursday because they put a hold on his account for transfering his money to his savings account. So mom lent him a little money and filled his gas tank and we went to the parks.

My plan was to get Soarin fps and meet them at Test Track. So I look around and I get lost. I actually did very well not getting lost day before and I was ahead of them the whole time. But this park was confusing and I had no map so I got lost ended up at Mission Space so I started walking back and I saw them so I said ok I will fp Test Track as I knew all would want to do that and we did Mission Space standby the weak version.

They needed to go get a hat for the baby so I waited about 30 minutes in the hot sun for them to get there as the Mission Space got longer and longer. We got a kidswap actually 2 of them because Kayla wasn't big enough so mom watched the kids this time and Me, Matt, Julie, and Jamie went on the weak side as it was almost no wait. When we got off mom, Julie, and I went on the intense side and then we got off and me, Jamie, and Matt went on again the intense side. This time we were strapped in for about 10 mins or so we speculated someone threw up but the ride was stopped for a bit the guy came by and said are you ok to wait 10 minutes and we said sure.

After we got off we met up with Mom and the kids and we went on Test Track. I rly like this ride and my nephew actually said he had fun on it also which he doesnt usually like rides and he did it twice iirc.

After this ride we fastpassed Soarin and we went to hunt down some food. My nephew got a hot dog and some chips with a smoothie. Everyone else went to japanese food and ate there. Sister had some sushi (YUCK). I had some chicken I think with that meet stuff and some white rice. It was actually quite good. Mid meal I try my nephews smoothie and found out that the best thing in all of Disney is a smoothie. So after we were done eating I went back for a smoothie. I got a banana that time as he had strawberry. O btw those things are "fat free".

After that my nephew wanted to ride a boat which we couldn't bring baby on maelstorm but we could bring him on the boat to future world so I said k lets go on that and we just did that to get to Soarin. We ended up going over to Nemo while sister was somewhere I forget and we thought about just getting on. Mom called and said they are already there so we said ok who watches baby can come do this while they wait for others. Mom, Me, Kayla, and Julie went first but we also saw the water ride in there so they decided to do living with the land while waiting for us and we got the baby swap for the baby and they went on that while we were in. We got off both at same time and they took Warren on the ride while we did Living with the land which was pretty cool little ride which I had never done before even though I have never seen a line for it. After that we were all off and went over to nemo.

After that my mom disappeared with Kayla and we all walked into turtle talk with crush except those two who we were trying to find but they were loading so we walked in. It was a kinda funny show tbh we were not that impressed with it and when that was over we met up again and mom took Kayla and warren back on Soarin while they went to see about the big ball and I was like nah I don't want to wait so I went off on my own and got a pretzel. Was actually trying to hunt down one of those smoothies but their machine was broken or off idr which but the pretzels are rly good too. We called it a night after that. Wasn't too bad of a day it was nice to see Warren lighten up a little and enjoy a ride or two. The next day is MGM.

Day 4: Tues Aug 5th -

I was up on time and rdy to go early so Matt and I go out searching for a check cashing place. All night we were texting ChaCha trying to find a place to get it done and we didn't come up with any place that was open at 8 am so we drove around looking. We ended up going to Publix and he was able to get $75 there to tide him over for the day. We end up getting to MGM over an hour after it opens and I knew there would be problems.

Julie and I make our way to get fps. I said ok TSM obviously first? There is ppl singing and its hard to get around but I am also thinking once again we can all wait in line for that is it worth doing right this second. So I run back and forth back and forth and end up getting fp for Tower of terror.

After we get those we meet up with family at Star Tours and wait standby for that the line wasn't too bad it was like 20 minutes maybe. Child swap on that one done inside which I like much better so we get that out of the way. After that they decide to sit down and let the kids eat some lunchables while Matt gets a cpl pretzels and I make a run to toy story for the fps. The time on those were 8:30 to 9:30 at about 11am or so. It was insane. But atleast I got them. After I meet back and they are done eating we head over and do Muppets 4D which I enjoy and kids found nothing special.

We then make our way over to ToT. Once again Matt watches the kids as we wanted a picture. Now this unfortunately did not work out as someone was in front of Kayla and she is non existant in this picture. I am also looking over at Kayla lol so it was a bad picture but mom still bought it. After all the swapping and going on ride was done I got the fp for Rockin Rollercoaster.

Later that night we do RnR and Warren actually is made to do that even though he got off the hook for EE. I bought the picture for that one. After a cpl rides on RnR and splitting up a bit we went over to Toy Story Mania. This ride was AMAZING imo. I rly enjoyed this ride and it was pretty awesome even though my nephew is terrified of 3d I think he wore them I am not too sure.

After that they still had a child swap so Julie, Matt, and Jamie went to RnR and I said I will take the kids on the great movie ride. So we do that and the baby is very good, we get off and the park is pretty much closed at that point so we leave and get rdy for our last Disney day which is Magic Kingdom.

Day 5: Wed Aug 6th -

Early in morning little after 8 Matt goes out again to get another $75 from Publix. He found a closer one then the one we drove 20 minutes to before. All week I was stressing the importance of getting to MK on time as it will probably be a zoo. Matt gets back at a decent time but more goes wrong... we are roughly 5 minutes late when mom goes looking for her camera. She spends a good like 25 minutes or so looking for it before coming to the conclussion it was stolen from her car along with her glasses probably the night before at the pizza place. So she is all upset as all Kaylas trip was on that camera and 3 birthday parties and ofcoarse our full trip.

So we get to the park and I fastpass Space mountain with 3 fps and use 4 to get thunder mountain. So then I meet them at the kids area and I got a txt from mom saying they are doing Its a small world. I reply good was afraid you would do family ride w/o me and I am upset at that point and shes upset she lost her camera and for some reason Julie is upset which I had no idea why that was. So I walked away to work on fps for splash mountain which I had to wait to get about 20 minutes by time I got there. I decided I would do the 3 big rides with them and then I wanted to go back to condo so they could do the rest of the rides w/o having to worry about child swap.

So we meet up at Space mountain and we do that a cpl times. Then we go do splash and Big thunder mountain railroad and I was feeling better, I didn't have to leave. Julie still wanted to go. Jamie asks her son Warren what he wants to do and he says I want to ride the go karts and then leave. So by this time we are all upset. Julie I have no idea why. Mom lost her camera and her memories. I was upset at everyone. Jamie was upset(and I am speculating here she never told us why) because we all spent a lot of money for Warren to have a good time and he was ungrateful. So we said alright we are going to leave and come back for the fireworks.

So it was about 4 ish I think and Me, Warren, Julie, Kayla, and the baby pile into the car and head back to the condo. After we all get a dole whip which I obviously wanted to try before I left. Julie, baby, and Kayla get in and get right to sleep. I was incredibly tired but Warren was playing with his gameboy he got for his bday and I am not rly one to leave kids unattended even the sleeping ones I would fear I would need to be awake for some reason so I did not sleep.

Around 7:30 Julie gets up and the others are still asleep so Warren and I head to the pool for about 30 mins before we have to leave back to the park for fireworks. I figured we would have to leave around 8:30 to make it there in time. So we left on time and we got there in good time and had baby all changed and fresh diaper. I tried to transfer Kayla w/o waking her but that did not work so she was up.

We got to the park and there is a line of ppl watching the parade and we found out the others were in future world at Monsters Inc so we headed to meet them there. I was all worried Jamie would miss magical fireworks with kid but turns out she didn't care much but we got there on time she wanted to do the tomorrowland thing so me and her and Warren went on that and could see Tink flying over the castle and we saw some fireworks.

After that I was starving so I went over to where we had lunch earlier and I had that again. Unfortunately got french fries so I felt so sick after that I haven't had fried food in a long long time. So at that time the fireworks ended and some of us met up while Kayla and her mom went on tea cups. Jamie asked if I wanted to bring Warren on the cars so first time we went on he drove and I pushed petal and he kept hitting the metal thing in the road it was a bumpy ride. So he said lets do it again this time you drive and so we did and he couldn't keep the petal down.

After that it was closed and it was time to meet up with the rest of the family and leave. That was end of Magic Kingdom. Next day is Universal/IOA.

Day 6: Thurs Aug 7th

Ok originally this day was going to be MGM and we were going to do a water park on Friday. About a week before I said well I can get the hotel room for less then $200 and why doesn't Jamie and Matt stay in the hotel for a night away from the kids. So they liked that idea a lot and we moved this to Universal. A few days before we had enough of the kids and since you can only have 5 express anyway we said well how about we don't bring the kids and save us some money and hastle. The kids were there 3 weeks prior so are not missing anything. We all agreed and Jamie and Matt took first shift while mom and I went out to get the express and check into the hotel. Everything went smooth and they said they would call me when its ready.

So we drove over to the parks with our free parking and express and worked our way around the park. First was the hulk. Then went to Spiderman. After that Julie complained about being sick so mom got a pretzel for us to share and her a soda.(btw the pretzels at Disney are much better) We then did the 3 water rides. Now I have done all the rides here previously except for the JP flyers and Dudley. So we went on Dudley. This ride was incredibly uncomfortable but overall a pretty cool ride. I came prepared with baggies this time so was happy about that so was less worried about being soaked.

We then went on the rapids and that was fun I don't remember getting too wet on that ride that time but that would change the next day. We then did Jurassic which I still enjoy it is definately one of my favorite water rides. Then went over to Dueling dragons and we opted to skip all of Suess landing this trip.

We went searching for some food and the confiscito was too expensive and then we went to super hero land and it was mostly pizza so I said lets just go back to the comic land and I will get Chinese. So we all agreed and we did that. I got the beef and broccoli and so did Julie.

After that we made our way to Universal. We had made plans to meet at 3:30 as that was half way between 9 and 10 park opening to close. It was roughly 1 or so already. So we first did the Mummy. We did it 2 or 3 times idr. Then it was almost time to meet them. Mom said she would watch the kids all day Friday so Jamie and Matt could stay at the park so I told her lets go do MIB because that's a ride I like and then I will go meet them while you 2 can go do the Simpsons or whatever you want to do. So we did that and I got out at 3 was perfect time for what I thought would be on time.

I went to the car to get their bathing suits and then back to the hotel where I walked the whole way and then checked in right as they were walking in. So I was a little bit late but so were they so that worked out. I went to the room and they left while I took the kids. I made my way to the pool for a few minutes with the 3 kids thinking mom be right there but it was about an hour or more till they got in. So we only stayed at pool for a few minutes and then I went back to the room and waited for them everyone got changed and waited.

After they got in we went back to the pool for a little bit and then we went back to room and changed. We then left the hotel. We were debating on whats for dinner. Julie wanted a seafood buffet that was like $30. Mom said yea right so we went back and forth for a bit and decided to do Golden Corral. It was a pretty nice place I must admit. I do not like how they don't have plates up there you have to wait for a server to do it, same with drinks I was waiting for refills forever. They did have rly good pulled bbq pork though and the desert thingy with vanilla wafers /drool. Unfortunately I was too full to get some ice cream but it did look good. After that we went home and went to sleep.

Day 7: Fri Aug 8th -

When we got up I wanted a breakfast buffet not sure why its what I craved so we went to Ponderosa like 30 mins before it ended and I sat the kids and Julie watched them while I packed about 5 plates full of food on before they closed.

At around 2 or so my sister and I went over to the parks to meet up with Matt and Jamie. We met over at Universal and met up at the Simpsons ride. We did that and then went over to MIB where I shared the secret I learned from here of holding down the trigger button. I scored absolutely horrible once again but atleast this time it wasn't as bad as the 60k I did the day before I think I had 180k second day. After that we went over and rode the Mummy. After the Mummy we decided to do Jimmy Nuetron rq before we left.

Then Matt went out and got some money at the bank while me and sisters went over to IOA. We did not do much in that time. First Jamie and I did Poseidon's fury because she wanted to and I kept saying its a standing walking show and she said eh lets try it so Julie waited for us. We went right in and I must say its kinda cool that wall of water thingy is pretty awesome. I was not too dissapointed with that but it was definately walking and man I was sick of walking all the time lol.

We then made our way over to Jurassic park and did that. Afterwards Matt was back and we met up and did Jurassic again. Then we decided to do the water rides. First was Dudley and more uncomfortableness on that. I was soaked when it was almost over and I look up and a guy is waving. Wonder what this random guy is waving at and then BAM splat water right in my face from the water gun. My back was the only dry spot and ofcoarse my sister used that to her advantage by wiping her face on it.

So we went over to the water rapids and that was fun too and my back being dry did not hold up after that hit the wall of water and splat all over my back. So all of us were soaking and I brought change of clothes but they were in the car. So they wanted to buy new clothes and just change. We were going to do Dudley one more time because they wanted to so we went over to Dudley and rented a locker to put all our random stuff in like cellphone. Then ofcoarse after that it started raining so everything was closed.

We went to the first store near Dudley and Matt bought himself an outfit and 2 for Jamie, that Julie wore one and they got changed. I didn't see anything that nice there and my god clothes are expensive considering my full outfit I was wearing was probably $25 and that was the cheapest pants. So we went out looking for something else the rain was dimming down and I was cold and wet and boy did I want some new clothes. So went over to comics and nothing rly good there and went to super hero and I got a Wolverine shirt. They had no pants anywhere from the point we were to point we were at so we made the way back and they were looking at some random jewelry so I said I will meet you at the locker. They said ok and I went back to first place where they got their clothes as it was only place for shorts. I was going back and forth which to get they had some flowery stuff which looked like the $8 bathing suit I was currently wearing and they had some brown shorts that were the cheapest at $26 ish. I had flowery in my hand up at counter while someone was returning some sandals and I look at it and it has only one pocket. I had my wallet and like 2 cellphones I was carrying so I rly didn't think that would work so I got the brown pants with like 6 pockets in them and called that a day. Got all changed and felt much better.

At this time the rides were back up and only had less then 2 hours till closing. So we went straight on the hulk as we wanted to ride at night something I haven't done. We waited in line about 15 or so mins and were going to go again but said how about we just go over to dueling dragons the lines will be less and we can finish the night with that. So we did that. My sandals hurt and so did Matt's he just brought brand new ones as his old were soaking and all discusting like but mine were my reg sandals I don't like that thing between toe sandals but mine were hurting each step. Finally made it there and rode 4 or so times once in front was our last ride before they closed. We kept trying to get a shortcut to go back before we noticed a ride-again but I think they take that down when its busier however don't get why they don't put it up late at night when no line when they have ppl yelling at ppl don't use child swap go around. Most the cars go empty while we have to go up to the point where the stairs are then back down the stairs.

But that was the end of that night and they were talking about dinner and I said I don't think I want citywalk. Firstly, mom been home and didn't get food so shes hungry I am sure and I knew citywalk would take forever and its crowded and I am not much for crowds. So we asked Julie if she rather go home with me or stay with them and she just went home. I got Burger king on the way home and got the kids some kids meals and mom a burger.

After that I passed out no clue what time Jamie ended up getting home but when I got home mom said they just waited 25 minutes for their sodas to show up. Next day we leave.

Day 8: Sat Aug 9th -

Well it was a long week but this is the end. We got up and I packed the car. Matt packed his car and we were out around 11 am or so. We decided to have breakfast together we did Houlihans which had a buffet breakfast that was almost over for $6 or so. It was actually kinda decent had an omelot bar which was yum.

After that Jamie wanted to get something for Kayla so we went over to one of those places that sell souviniours and got a few things. They then drove home and we met up with Kayla's Grandparents who were bringing her home to South Carolina. It was sad time to see her go unfortunately I worked the whole time she was here my boss was on vacation for 3 weeks. But having this week with her was fun.

Overall it was a pretty stressful vacation. Wish I had more pictures to share. But I think most of us had a good time.

On the way home I went to sleep while mom drove home. I woke up and we were there already it was kinda nice. After we got home I said how about we go see a movie and I bought mom dinner at uh Carrabas and went to see the Mummy 3 and Stepbrothers which was a little bit funny. Was dissapointed in the Mummy but it wasn't an overly bad movie. That was the end of my vacation and next day is a 13 hour workday.
