According to this story, it looks like they may be extending Remy's time at Chefs:

I, for one am not happy about that...They do not need to make everything all about characters at WDW.We always dine at Les Chefs ( before Remy) , and enjoy our dining there , and will not be happy if we can not get adrs now because of this.

Then why not go to any typical french bistro? Isn't the reason you go to WDW is to be absorbed into Walt's world? If it were up to me I'd have characters/disney theming in some sort or fashion in all the restaurants. That's what/who I go to WDW for. There can be a happy blend of characteur and fine dining. Le chefs is a prime example, lil Remy is out for only a few minutes, but is enough to emerse you into Disney and not take away from the meal.
Remy's day off is Sunday so I'd advise you partypoopers to go on that day. That way you wont be bothered by the 3 minute show.
I don't consider myself a party pooper.I have an opinion, which I am allowed to post..I know lots love Remy( I love him, just not at Les Chefs)I don't call them names

WDW is a family vacation destination. To me that means, adults as well as children can enjoy the many attractions and dining venues they offer. There is a reason why the parks are designed, in such a way, to appeal to all ages. I do not consider myself a "party-pooper" because I enjoy the world showcase restaurants and tend to avoid the character buffets. If every restaurant at WDW included characters or were served buffet style...DH and I would not continually return.
**Maybe that is why we enjoy the Signature restaurants and avoid the buffets, at all cost.
Isn't it wonderful that we can all go to WDW and find our own definition for "magic"!!!!!
Are you LISTENING WDW?? Joan
