Big disappointments !!

I believe it all boils down to Disney is what you want it to be.​

Everyone wants something different out of it. People gave me a hard time when I took my daughter at four months old. I did it for the memory it made for our family. I totally knew she would not remember it AT ALL. I got out of it what I wanted. A memory. Others may not of done it, and that fine.

Do what makes you feel good! Its about you, not the other people.​

Good! If I have kids and I'm able to I'll do the same thing! Out of curiosity, how old does a bay have to be to go on rides like POTC, Haunted Mansion and Maelstrom?

There's no age limit for any of these attractions. A baby can ride on a parent's lap.

Thanks! I'm aware there's no actual age limit, but is it really a good idea to take a 4 month old baby on these rides? Probably a stupid question actually, as I'd assume that if it wasn't, they'd have an age limit Sorry, this is off-topic anyway. So I'll just add I hope they keep Remy there for years and years!

ACK! When I took DD to see Ratatouille, she was about 8. I could tell she just wasn't that entranced. So I asked her if she was enjoying the movie. She said, "I don't know.....Rats.....in a kitchen......with food....while they're cooking. I mean, what's up with that? It's kind of disgusting if you ask me."

I told DH when we got home and he said, "Yep...She's your daughter, alright." I admitted the movie had skeeved me out too. I guess we'll have to go for dinner. I can't handle a rat, animatronic or not, being around my food.

Glad I'm not the only one. I remember how someone was talking on the boards how a Ratatouille themed restaurant would be really neat. I just kept thinking of rats in food, bleurgh!!

I loved how they made a point of keep showing Remy wash his hands before he started cooking...like that would stop the ratness in my food!!!

Remy's day off is Sunday so I'd advise you partypoopers to go on that day. That way you wont be bothered by the 3 minute show.

That is not an official Disney site and information posted there should not be considered an official announcement by WDW. They are speculating based on information they have seen elsewhere.

If it's true, and they stick to the current schedule, Sundays and dinners past 6 PM will be rat-free.

I would be totally happy for the actors who got full-time jobs out of it.
