Ok,

Please help me make a darn decision here you 'all. :lmao:

We own VWL now, but would like to add BCV since we visit in October and would like to book at 11mths out...not waiting for the 7th mth window.

Well, should we buy BCV? Just rent points? or is that a bigger gamble than waiting till the 7mth mark?

Humm....so many decisions...this is so much fun.

Thanks for your input!

We bought, but we take extended family and want to book at 11 months, and don't want to take the risks that I associate with renting. You can try getting a BCV transfer.

Resale prices have fallen, and if you think you'll always want to go in October, look into the resale market, there could be a contract calling to you!

If you are planning to go everywhere (or already do), then I would buy into BCV.

As someone said, resales deals are pretty good right now and it will relieve a lot of the waiting during those 4 months!

Hi: One of the resale brokers just e-mailed me regarding 2 different BCV 100 point contracts with banked 08 points- prices were $89 and $90 pp.

I would purchase transfer points and book the reservation yourself. We were close to adding on again until this most recent change. We figured that for our family, it worked out better to purchase transfer points and we wil continue to do so when we want to take extra trips as long as point costs remain in the $10-$12 range. We just purchased 150 points which will get us through the next three years with banking. It was simple and I like being in control of my reservation instead of through a renter. If you plan to visit BCV every year at a high demand time, you may want to consider adding on.

I would rent or transfer the points unless you are sure you would use the extra points most every year, then I would buy.
