BIG BROTHER SEASON 20! SPOILERS WELCOME

Sam is a great player but I have to admit that I am not happy about her speech. I don't like that she didn't "allow" the girls to defend themselves verbally. Who does she think she is?

This season is definitely better than the last couple of years. They are actually playing and not a puppet to the HoH each week.

The girls were allowed to defend themselves after the speech. Sam didn't interrupt them, she countered them. She's 100% correct that actions speak louder than words.

I believe she did interrupt them but that could be subject to yours and my interpretation.
You're correct, she did interrupt them. At times I think Sam's not too bad, but at other times she does stuff that just REALLY rubs Ms the wrong way. She came off very holier than though and completely acted like she was better than everyone else in the house and honestly came off pretty catty in my opinion this week.

I'd still like to know the details of what all she did during that one POV competition that had the rest of the houseguests pretty shocked and disgusted by her actions. BB never showed what happened - it was the one with the different levels, one was getting shocked, she was on the block. I just remember the other houseguests almost seemed embarrassed by her actions after the real time competition. Needless to say, while she sometimes comes off likable, I'm pretty leery of her, and this week has really turned me off to her.

I cannot stand Sam. At first, she seemed so sickly sweet…especially when she was the robot. She was moping around with her weird little voice like, "poor me." :crazy2: Such a phony.

And her speech was really MEAN, unnecessarily MEAN. She's such a hypocrite because then she goes hugging Faysel and cuddling with him too, after bashing Hayleigh and Kaitlyn. Seems like she's green with envy and she's being super catty about wanting to get rid of the cuter girls because she is jealous of them.

Oh, and how stupid is it that she was going to nominate her best friend in the house?? Why would anyone do that? She's not smart.

Personally, I am having a hard time continuing to like and root for Sam. She was a bit harsh and put a huge target on her now as she's alienated several people...even people in the super six...even her BFF, JC. And she just isn't playing smart.

But many of the folks are a bit nutso. I guess you kind of have to be a 'character' to do a show like this and the show looks for the most extreme characters. This season has more characters than usual.

This is how I feel about her. I wasn't too crazy about her in the pre-season interviews and my opinion of her has diminished since then. I felt bad for her that she was a robot - it was a harsh punishment for so early in the game bu that's it.

I agree that her nomination speech was unnecessarily harsh and personal. She could have stopped at "you take more from the house than give". Any other personal issue she had with them could have been addressed one on one and not in front of the house during a televised ceremony since part of her intent is to teach them something so they grow and learn about self respect or some such nonsense (she said this over the weekend). I wish CBS had included the clip where she said the boys walking around with no shirts and cuddling back was no big deal because "they're guys and can't help themselves". After listening to her prattle on all week, my eyes are strained from rolling them so much.

Wow, really? How insane and sexist - such an "empowered" woman:crazy2:....

OK so what was up with Sam's nomination speech after Fessy used the veto? She told Tyler she was going to nominate Rockstar. Then she starts to nominate JC, but quickly changes her mind and puts up Rockstar. Was this some kind of act? Was JC in on it? I can't imagine that Sam was ever seriously planning to put JC up. And I can't imagine that she changed her mind right there on the spot either. After refusing to discuss her nominations with anyone and then giving such a strongly worded speech, there's no way she went into the veto meeting without the same level of confidence. Does anyone who watches the live feeds have any insight? My DH and I were just shaking our heads last night!

I don't believe she told Tyler she would put up Rockstar, she would't tell him anything.

Her explanation for thinking about putting JC up was that he was so well liked he wouldn't get voted out.

I was reading on another site that Kaitlyn has "empowered" 3 of the men in the house so far. Can any of the feed watchers confirm this? If so it just confirms my opinion of her.

When Tyler came up to visit Sam in the HOH room, she told him if someone used the veto she would say, "Sorry Rockstar. She's just made herself a huge beaming target for everybody." Then they showed a diary room talk where she said Rockstar would be the obvious choice. To me, the JC thing really came out of left field.

I liked the fact that Kaitlyn made a big move to get rid of Swaggy. But her behavior otherwise has been ridiculous. She needs to go.

I think there was more to the conversation than that but I could be wrong.

That was early covo. But then later she told Tyler she had her mind made up and wasn't telling anyone. I think she had decided to put up JC in order to be sure to get Kaitlyn out, not get anymore blood on her hands, and she had that power app in case JC got voted out. Would have been a smart move but she chickened out. Now she has a lot of people irritated with her. But so did Kaitlyn a couple weeks ago and so did Scotty last week but that hasn't hurt them too badly. Kaitlyn is being gunned for this week but I think that's more to do with her being annoying and on the other team...and being bad for Tyler's game.

So what's this about Kaityn 'empowering' three men???? As in fooled around with?? What three...Tyler, Fessy, Brett??? Ew.
