Big Brother 8 *Spoiler* Thread

I agree that this season seems more scripted than any other season. I liked the first few seasons of BB the best. I liked it when they chose regular people instead of friends of winners (Jen/Boogie) or wannabe actors and reality junkies.

I really like watching BB, but it would have been a better season if the diary room would not have been so influential. The diary room should be a sounding board not a brain washing season.

Even with all this, I still enjoyed this season. Just not as much as some previous seasons. Oh, and GO DANI!!!

I'm not sure if this has been asked lately, so please forgive me if it has.

Is Dani eligible to win? Wasn't it discovered she was under 21 when she applied? Did they find a solution to this?

I heard that they are NOT together for a few reasons (whether this is true or not I don't know)........

A reporter accidentally asked Dustin what he thought of Eric being America's player....
Amber and Jameka are not allowed to talk to press because of Amber's remarks...
Jen threatens to leave sequester every two seconds....plus she found the America's player card....
People found the sequester house in the past and they didn't want that happening again (from seeing it on TV)....
No word on where Eric & Jess are or if they are together.

I really would like ED to win simply because he has played the best. We may not all agree on his strategy but it worked and obviously BB didn't see it as "crossing the line" otherwise he would have been removed.

He dominated the house from the beginning and has ran the show this entire season!

Yes, he may have shown rude behavior--spitting, burping, farting--but the cameras are on 24/7 and it is supposed to show you doing normal behaviors but at the same time showing the effects of being confined for such a long period.

So here's to ED taking it all :drinking1 :cool1: !!

Unfortunately I honestly don't think he will because too many of the HG's took everything personally and "flip flopped" on their word so much this time around and it will be a vendetta vote against him.

I, for one, would also like to know what is going on in the jury house. Wonder why they haven't said anything to us about it??????

At this point, I don't see D and D as the underdogs. They have definitely proven themselves to be dominant. I'm rooting for the underdogs - Jameka and Zach!!! But only because all the players that I actually liked have either:

A: Turned into players that I don't like (I originally was rooting for D and D)
or
B: Have been voted out (Jess and Eric)

I'm more interested in what's going on in the jury house than what's going on in the BB house. Is that sad or what! :sad2:

I was also rooting for D&D at the beginning, but when I saw how abusive and disgusting Dick is and how whiney and annoying Dani is, I changed my mind real quick!

D&D have flip flopped and lied along with everyone else, it just amazes me when Dick flips out when it is done to him or the whiney bim, but it is ok when he does it.

Exactly...the last Youtube I watched from Morty's he's yelling at Zach for going back on the deal with them after he just went back on his deal with Eric and Jess! Hello????

D & D bullied their way to the top. I guess that was there game. :confused3

I still can't get over Dick actions. To each his own, now I can watch something else.

:thumbsup2

I'll continue to watch till the end, to much time invested now, but I agree with your first sentence.

That's what I say! And if he doesn't win, I want Dani to win.

Anybody know the answer or will breaking the rules just be ignored by BB?

I didn't know you had to be 21 to "play" :confused3

well I went and checked and you're right

6. You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.

very, very interesting :scratchin

Hum, maybe if she wins they won't allow her to keep the payout as she didn't follow the rules. How did they not know she was under 21, did she get a fake ID?

Always at the end of tv game shows, etc it says that even though someone has won it doesn't mean they'll collect the prize, they can collect only if they meet all the rules and regulations to a T.

I also agree they knew her age and made an exception. CBS would have had to recruit either Dani or Dick to get the father/daughter setup to happen.

I don't think for a minute that Dani actually broke the rules by hiding the fact that she was not 21.

I'm sure the producers knew Dani was only 20 yrs old. She discussed it on camera at the beginning of the show (in a DR talk I think) and about how she didn't want the rest of the house to know she wasn't 21 yet.

The producers probably stretched the rules a bit in her favor because they wanted the father/daughter drama which they thought would equal ratings.. and it did. Lets face it, if ED and Dani hadn't been on there, we would have had a season of Amber bawling over things so stupid like a dead gnat and Jen looking at herself in mirrors. Not exactly the material controversial tv is made of. :rotfl:

Or we could have had 2 different characters on there, just as interesting and maybe not as gross and whinny. We could have had a Janelle or a Will or someone that was FUN to watch. I actually have had to tune out when Dick goes on his screaming rampages. It has NOT made me want to tune in. Someone "fun" would have been better to me. :)

That is probably the answer. It just makes me angry - why have rules???
I'm sure there were lots of under 21 year olds who would have loved to be on BB.
