BIG BROTHER 19! SPOILER THREAD! "SUMMER OF TEMPTATION"

elevision career[edit]
After winning CBS's Big Brother in 2001, Kirby briefly served as a medical correspondent for Extra!. He appeared in an episode of The Young and the Restless in late October 2006. He was also heavily featured on two seasons of the E! Channel television series Dr. 90210 and made appearances on episodes of Regis & Kelly, The Talk, LA Ink, Chelsea Lately (August 2008), Reality Bites Back (starring Amy Schumer and Theo Von) and Fox News. Additionally, Kirby has made several appearances on The Doctors as himself, during 2008 and 2009 and 2012. In 2008, Dr. Kirby appeared on multiple episodes of E! News. On March 6, 2011, Kirby appeared in the sixth season premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County. In 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, he hosted the jury roundtable segment of the CBS Big Brother season finales. He also recorded voices for a season 8 episode of Adult Swim's Robot Chicken where he played an animated physician and appeared in Andy Cohen's Then and Now on Bravo. In May 2016 Dr. Kirby won a celebrity edition of the hit CBS show, The Price is Right and his winnings ($51,030) were donated to charity. He has appeared on more than 35 television shows.

Here is Dr. Will Kirby's television career according to Wikipedia, He definitely made out better than any other player in history.
I remember him doing the health up dates on my CBS affiliate after he won BB.
But its being a plastic Surgeon that made him millions.

And here is why people choose him as a Dr. & why he is worth 5 million

Dr. Kirby received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his first year of postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. His dermatology residency training took place in association with Western University/Pacific Hospital where he was honored by being selected to serve as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology. Currently, Kirby serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Western University of Health Sciences and as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology, for Nova Southeastern University. He is also an expert reviewer for the Osteopathic Medical Board of California. In addition to serving as a medical expert in legal cases involving laser tattoo removal, Kirby lectures frequently at national medical conventions on advanced laser tattoo removal techniques and he has published multiple tattoo removal articles in medical journals, including articles in The Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology[1] and The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology.[2] He has authored and co-authored multiple medical textbook chapters regarding lasers and their implications.[3][4]

Dr. Kirby keeps a boutique dermatological practice in Hermosa Beach, California, with an emphasis on aesthetic procedures and complexion enhancement catering only to personal friends, family, VIPs, select private patients and celebrity clientele. Office visits there are accepted by appointment only. Bringing over a decade of experience in the aesthetic dermatology industry, Dr. Kirby also serves at the National Medical for LaserAway. In this role he hand selects dermatologists to serve as regional medical directors for the company, writes technical medical protocols for use in their exclusive EMR, investigates and assists in the acquisition of new aesthetic dermatological products and devices and supervises the implementation of clinical policies and procedures.

A licensed osteopathic physician in the state of California since 2002, Kirby is recognized as a Fellow by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and is a board certified dermatologist. In 2004 Kirby founded a laser tattoo removal chain in Beverly Hills, California, which he grew to ten clinics as of early 2015 at which time he sold his financial interests in the company and resigned his executive position to pursue other professional endeavors. Dr. Kirby is currently a member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and in the past has held membership in the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Medical Association (AMA). Kirby also served as the national spokesman for Johnson & Johnson's Neutrogena Dermatologics where he appeared live on QVC more than 100 times, for Kimberly Clark's Truist skin care line and as a social media partner for Unilever's Dove Men+Care.

I think they do.
I know who Evel Dick is because I watched him on BB. Wouldn't have a clue at all otherwise. Dh didn't watch back then and only knows of him because of me. I ONLY know of Boogie because of hearing about him here. I couldn't tell you anything about him except he was on BB, sounds like he was popular, and that's it. I couldn't even pick him from a lineup. My dh would just give you the confused look because he has no idea who he is. Hasn't even heard of him. We didn't watch the earliest seasons so those names don't really mean much to us.

I think you are assuming these people have made it beyond reality tv and BB in ways that they simply haven't.

For everyone saying it's fixed and that everyone knew Paul was going to win beforehand..would you accept that deal? There's no way in hell I'd be part of anything where I knew from the hop that I was wasting my time for literally nothing. I really hope that humanity isn't producing people that stupid now.

First of all, I find the last sentence in your comment to be out of line and rude.
There are other BB forums that people talk to each other that way, the Dis is not one of them.
Who is to say whether or not producer's didn't put out a casting call for a 3 month "job" where these people applied and are being paid to be on this farce of a game show???

While I don't believe that is the case it, it is not out of the realm of possibilities.
My belief is that they read these people's applications and watched their interviews and picked the most gullible humans on this earth, who would be easily manipulated.

We know the BB players because they're our interest.

I couldn't tell you one person who's been on The Amazing Race (besides the already famous people), or the Bachelor/bachelorette, or one dancer on Dancing with the Stars because that's just not on my radar.

I think you may have misinterpreted my last sentence..I wasn't talking about anyone on this thread. I was referring to anyone who would give up the chance of winning $500,000 just to have 15 minutes of fame.

No one from the show has gotten super famous, but there are people who have had some success, which I think are 2 different things. If people go on BB to advance their career in the entertainment industry that's one thing, if they go on to become the next Jennifer Lawrence, that's another.

As people have said Dr. Will has done very well for himself. Would he have done just as well if he were not on Big Brother probably, but Big Brother did provide him other opportunities that he wouldn't have had if he wasn't on the show. Granted the bulk of his money is because he's a very good plastic surgeon.

Jeff does interviews for pre-season BB. Would he have that job without BB, no way. Is he really famous, no, but he has a job that probably gives him a decent paycheck that he wouldn't have had without BB.

Jesse, Mr. Pectacular, has had a very successful career in wrestling. Is he famous, no. Does he have a decent paycheck, yes. Again, something that happened because of BB.

Jason Guy from season 3 is a weatherman on a local news channel in Florida. Is he famous other than to the people in Florida who watch that channel, no. Does he get a decent paycheck, yes. Again, something that more than likely happened because of BB.

Erika from season 4 works for CBS casting for their reality shows. Not famous, but probably gets a decent paycheck.

There are others that while not famous get a decent paycheck because of being on BB.

On the flip side there are people who lost their jobs because of BB, Spencer, Aaryn, Dan who is considered one of the best players lost his job because he worked for a Catholic school and swore on a bible in BB while lying.

So BB can help you if you are willing to work behind the scenes making a decent paycheck. BB will not help you make millions.

ITA with everything you said. These people took a mediocre moment of "fame" and used their own ambition, intelligence & drive to make money. They probably would have been successful in their lives anyway. But honestly I have watched every season and I don't recognize half these names.

Money, yes. Famous, not even a blip on the majority of people's radar.

I think you may have misinterpreted that last line. These people on the show are in fact stupid if the are playing for real, or not playing in their cases. I don't think she was talking about DISers.

We have been watching BB the last few years and I have not a clue who the Dr guy is or that Evil guy. I guess I didn't watch their season. If I actually watch BB and have no clue who they are, I guarantee you someone who's never watched wouldn't have a clue. Once the season is over on reality shows, I rarely remember anyone's name.

We've been without power since Sunday but just watched this week's episodes online. I couldn't believe how delusional Raven was thinking she's a puppet master. LOL for days.

I bolded. OMG I am worried she may have a brain injury from one of the competitions!! I almost feel sorry for her when she sees herself after the show. Honestly maybe her Mother can make up a new illness to explain her delusions.
