Hell must have frozen over or something. McCrae took a shower for the 3rd day in a row, and Spencer washed his sheets for the 1st time.

Me neither. If they want her out, they'd take her out. If they want to punish her, they would give her an automatic nomination. If they don't want her to talk, Julie won't call on her and/or they will tape the show so they can edit out anything they don't want the TV viewing fans to see.

I don't buy this either. Why would they give her a settlement? Her behavior would have been more than enough to kick her off. Her threatening to kill Elyssa in her sleep and basically terrorizing her so she locked herself in HOH was enough reason. I could understand if Elyssa wanted to leave because of them not protecting her from threats to her safety and making a settlement. If they give Amanda a settlement shame on them!

I find this hard to believe. I know anything is possible but contests/competitions usually have strict rules in place about relationships between organizers and contestants. And wouldn't pre-selecting a winner be fraud against the other houseguests?

I think this may have been discussed before but I believe reality based competitions are exempt from that whole fraud scenario which game shows are certainly subject to.

You're right. It was discussed previously and I read that reality comps are not included with the game show rules. I don't believe out and out picking a winner will fly or let that continue. The game show rules were put in place because games were rigged. If BB is rigged, it will eventually result in regulating reality shows too. I'm not sure if Alison Grodner would want to shoulder that burden for Amanda Zuckerman.

I also wonder if this isn't a disgruntled employee situation.

I am guessing there must be some heavy duty clauses in their contracts... I mean this show has been on for 14 years and no one from any of the other seasons have ever come out (that I am aware of) and said ANYTHING about HOW the show works etc...

they must be threated with lawsuits against them if they are caught spilling the beans is my guess... the only thing that makes any sense to me! soo disappointed in this season!!

My son told me about this. I would love for it to happen but I've been disappointed so much this season I don't want to get my hopes up. They've been placating Amanda all season and I think she'll be there till the end.

I keep wondering if she is Allison's alter ego??? Maybe Allison likes her personna and somehow fighting for her for a reason??? There has GOT to be a reason for this, someone HUMOR me!!

I haven't read any Jokers or Morty's updates today, but from what I read yesterday, Amanda's sudden calm is due to her being back on her medication.

She had indicated that she was feeling better now that she had her medicine and that she really needs to stay on schedule with it.

I'm guessing her medicine involves antidepressants/anti-psychotics/mood altering meds. There truly is no other explanation for her "episode".

The updates said that Amanda and Elissa were getting along fine again - Judd called them "two besties in the pool"... I can only see Elissa being so forgiving if there was mental illness involved.
