Do you think any of them are ever going to realize that every vote does not have to be unanimous? With three nominees, they can split the vote and only need to convince 3-4 people to vote for whomever they want out! If 1-2 people are dead set on Howard and 1-2 people are dead set on the new nominee, only 3 people need to vote Amanda to get her gone. it should be easier than they are making it...

Yes but it's much smarter to go on the assumption that only 2 people are going to get votes. If you campaign for votes and only make sure 1/3 of the house isn't going to vote you put then the rest of the house could still get together and vote you out. And out of 4 weeks there's only been one unanimous vote so far.

I guess I meant that it should be easier for the voters not the people campaigning to stay. There hasn't been a single vote that was split among all three nominees. Folks who hate *fill in name here* don't need 50%+1 to vote him/her out, they only need 33%+1.

Does that make more sense?

Yes but that requires the other votes to be split. From either perspective it makes more sense to make sure you've got the votes, rather than just hoping the other votes are split.

I think they get concerned about not voting with the house so they appear loyal to the HOH. I'd love to see a split vote.

I LOVE that Elissa and Helen are talking about kicking Amanda out. That's all we need. I also think that Jesse would JUMP at the opportunity to kick Amanda out so she could have McCrae to herself. She admitted last week that she thought he was cute.

I think the HOH will nominate the next person. I would love to see GM go up but I don't think that will happen.

Since Spencer was nominated by the HOH (Arryn), she will choose the replacement nominee. If the vetoed person was nominated by the MVP (this week, it's America), then the MVP would choose the replacement nominee (this week, that would be the next person on America's list). So, Arryn will name a new person when Spencer takes himself off the block.

What I feel is such a shame is that CBS previewed this Summer as being a BIGGER and BETTER Summer. More HG's and a longer time in the House.

Gawd. I bet CBS/BB never thought in a millions years they would have (IMHO) the worst HG's ever.

I mean we all know that A and GM are a waste. And then Amanda tried to explain to the MEANIES (which includes Kaitlin) that they are coming off as RACISTS. That they better watch what they say. Of course, the Meanies could care less.

Now we have Amanda doing eactly what she told the Meanies not to do.

I am understanding (through the Feeds) that Judd is now not the Judd we once knew.

That Candace and Elissa are now jumping on the bashing of HG's wagon.

Spencer using the 'c' word.

All in all I am so blue about this Season.

BB has always been my SUMMER addiction. But sadly NOT this Summer.

If the HOH's nomination gets vetoed, the HOH picks the replacement. If MVP's(which is America this week) nomination gets vetoed, the MVP picks the replacement. That has never changed.

After tonight's show, I can't stand Helen either. She thinks she is running everything. There just aren't many to choose from. We don't have feeds so I think my favorites are Jessie, and Andy. On tv I like Judd, but it seems like he is a different person on live feeds. :-(

lovin diz, I have been thinking that I wanted Helen to win for awhile. I definitely have changed my mind on her now. This season is so hard to pick a favorite. Nobody stands out. I just don't have a favorite. I guess if I had to choose one right at this moment it would probably be Howard. He's in trouble with the HG because he lied. Ummmm, pretty much they all will before they leave the house. Other than that, I don't think he has done anything bad that I can remember.

It is because Amanda is playing a great game right now. She is managing to control the vote without making it seem like she is. At least that is what it looks like on tv, not sure about the live feeds. Helen is playing well, I think she is using her political organizer experience but I don't think she will last.
