Big Announcement????

Kind of sad that my very first post (yay!) is the following:

THAT was underwhelming.

Oh well, back to drinking and seeing if I can make a bigger bonfire than the guy down the street... I mean, reading classic literature as I ring in the New Year.

I'll tell you what it was. It was to Disney, marketing at its best. To me, it was a HORRIBLE cough out! I mean, what about the rest of the year??? I am shaking my head...

Yeah me either. My trip isn't until September! So this announcement does nothing for me. But then we already all speculated it would be 24 hours on the Leap day. So I'm not too surprised, just disapointed that we were right. This announcement sucks.

I know! Last I recalled, October isn't the next month after Feb. it should've been something bigger.

Here here! I was considering going during that time for a b-day weekend and I'm not even excited. I may still take the 30% off, glad I went ahead and booked Le Cellier for 3/3 though .

So that means I WON! But now seeing the lame announcement I don't think anyone really "won" except those people that are going to Disney during the 2 weeks of this promo.

I totally agree with you. In my opinion, it would have been a million times better if Disney extended the "buy three days get one free" offer for all of 2012 instead of a two week period that a very small percentage of people actually visit during.

At least most of the year. A few blackout dates would be understandable. But not 14 days. At least the 60 trips sweepstakes is exciting.

Only a 2 week window? Not cool Disney. I don't no very many people that can book a vacation, esp one like Disney, with such short notice. Even if I wouldn't have to miss class to go, there is no way DH could get the time off with it being only 2 months away.
