Biergarten w/ a vegetarian and dinner or lunch?

Okay, so my brother and I want to do Biergarten. I'm a vegetarian, he eats most anything but tomatos.

Is there much difference between lunch and dinner? Does one have more offerings, like salads or desserts?

Is the show the same all day or is dinner better than lunch? I've read they don't start till 1:15, is this still true?

I've read some reviews and done searches but they were older posts coming up. Thanks!

This is not a clear pic, but I'm posting it just to give you an idea of the vegetarian options you'll have. It was definitely enough to fill my plate, though I admit this was not my favorite food, by any stretch. There were several veg options, but nothing that I really loved. I did, however, love the beer flight, and the entertainment- so it was worth it overall!
The lunch and dinner options are largely the same, but there are a few dishes (mostly meat ones) that they only add on to the buffet for dinner. The dinner price is significantly higher, so I'd go for lunch. They start serving at noon.

Have you looked at a menu? There is a LOT of meat there, some roasted and some baloney-like. There are salads and soups and a few veggies. Spaetzle and other noodle salads, too. You should decide if that will be good enough for you.

Dinner has a couple extra things over lunch. The show is the same, but it varies each time as far as song, featured instrument or singer - that sort of thing.

Yeah, I've looked at the menu and my vegetarian mom ate there a few years ago and said she liked it but wouldn't probably go back.
