We have 7:30pm reservations for Biergarten. It looks like the next show would be at 8:05pm. Do people hang around - even if they're done eating - to enjoy the show? How long do the shows typically last?

With that schedule, you will not likely feel like you are having to force the issue. I don't recall the exact length of the show, but I'm thinking 20 to 30 minutes, so you should be able to get a full show in pretty easily before you start feeling any pressure to give up your table.

Both times we've been there, we've eaten and hung out while the kids danced to the music, so I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't felt rushed either time.

You'll easily get to hang around for the show if you've finished but by the time you're seated, order drinks, and go through the buffet line I bet it'll be pretty close to showtime. I'd guess the show lasted 20-25 minutes.

EDIT: or are you worried about other people waiting around so you won't get seated? If so, I wouldn't worry, the band plays often enough that most people will probably have already seen it. The tables turnover pretty quick and there are a lot of them.

Between waiting to be seated, having your drink orders taken, the first trip thru the buffet line, the second trip for more of your favourites, then the 3rd trip for dessert, the show will probably be over before you're done.

I was worried about hanging around ourselves

Thanks, everyone! After everything is booked (ADRs & FP+) I swear I start to second guess everything because I have little left to plan.

The Biergarten is set up to resemble a true Biergarten such as the seating. From what my husband tells me, in Germany, you get your food, you sit down at a table with your friends and by the end of the meal, your friends across the table have been moved down quite a bit because of the people coming n after you. There's no set seating a true Biergarten. Some people stay, some people leave.

We have a 7:45 reservation one night so I'm very happy to see that we will get to see a show. I couldn't find a schedule anywhere! Thanks :thanks:

We never miss it! and sometimes see it twice. Agree that by time you are seated, they get your drink order, explain the buffet and you enjoy your eats - at some point there will be a show. Last trip, in May, we even hung around and just talked and enjoyed another beer.

This was the schedule end of May -

Yes. The show is 20 minutes. We like to make a reservation about 30 minutes before the show in hopes that the timing will be that we have finished our main course and are starting dessert around the time of the show. When DD was a pre-schooler, she wanted to be on the dance floor during the show, which was a pain if it was right when I was trying to eat my meal as I couldn't send her out there by herself at that age. Your timing should be good. If you are worried about not getting seated, I think you will be fine. The show before that is at 7:15, so the people watching that one will clear out at 7:35. So, if it is packed that night and most of the tables are full and timed to see that 7:15 show, then you could get a table about 10 or 15 minutes after your ADR, but still in plenty of time for the next show.

Wdwent.com lists all WDW's shows and entertainment for the current week. It is very useful since most shows do not change their schedules that frequently.

That is fantastic! I had no idea. Thank you for that site. I know how to find just about everything else but had no clue where to find the schedule for the shows for the restaurant. You are awesome!

Ooops - our reservation is for 7:15..... which show should we expect to see? 7:15 or 8:15?

If you check in a little early and can get seated a little early (no guarantees on that however) then I would think the 7:15 show would work for you.

We go for lunch and usually get the 12:30 seating for the 1:15 show. We would never miss Biergarten, it's our must do and so is the show. Seating is different and we have usually had great table mates. The year that just me and DH went we sat with a couple from Puerto Rico, great people and we sat through 2 shows enjoying our conversation and sharing drinks.

With a 7:30 ADR you probably won't be done with your meal by the time the show starts................Unless you're looking to get a nice spot for Illuminations :) BTW its a good show.......specially for the younglings :P
