We made reservations for the Biergarten, seating for 9. THey said it would be one table, but I thought they were just 8 seats at a table, is their room for 9 seats? Or will they split us up?
I booked Biergarten for February for 21 people and have 1 ADR for 12 people, and 1 ADR for 9 people. I'm interested to see how that ends up as well when we get there. But since it's an early ADR - 4:10pm - I'm hoping we'll all be seated in table next to each other.
We have 11 of us wanting to eat together at Biergarten, but we have separate reservations (one group was slow to decide): one for a party of 7 and one for 4. We're going to check in at the same time and see what happens.
We did 9 before and they put a chair at the end of the table. It was not ideal but it worked. My DB has looong legs and he was at the end but had to keep scooting in and felt like he was going to get a plate dumped on his head a few times. (He would have deserved it!)
We did the Biergarten with a group of 15 last month and they put us at two tables, but right next to each other. I would think they'll put the 9th person at the end of the table, which would have been fine where we were located (on the top tier). I'm not sure if the lower tiers have as much room though.
1) A ninth person does get stuck at the end of the table.
2) Unfortunately, that is the main aisle way to/from the food.
3) It does get crowded with people
. . . walking back and forth
. . . walking with loaded plates
4) Put someone small on the end.
If you have small kids, you can probably all fit without having anyone at the end. We had 10 last year, 6 adults and 4 kids and we put 5 on a side and were fine.
