No idea -hope they keep parties separate, but maybe not.Are they still keeping the tables apart or is communal tables back? Definitely would rather have separate tables. Family style probably had a lot of food waste.
We ate at the family style version of Cape May back in July and it was the best meal we’ve ever had at Cape May. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious.Crossing my fingers they bring back the buffet at Cape May. If not I'll have to cancel my October reservation.
I watched review by Disney Dining on YouTube and all three reviewers said family style at Cape May was underwhelming. We ate at the family style version of Cape May back in July and it was the best meal we’ve ever had at Cape May. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious.
Back to $55Excellent. Will add it to my ADR list when I start booking on Sunday. Wonder if it will stay at $46, which is a bargain right now with many of the buffets at $55.
I just looked at a reservation for Oct 20 and it is still $46.Back to $55
Cape May buffet is one of our favorite places to eat so I was trying to be gentle.Underwhelming is a polite way to phrase it. Massively soul-crushing would be more apt for our experience.
The buffet is one of our favorites as well, which is why it was so disappointing. I would seriously consider booking a trip solely to hit up Cape May should they revert back to the buffet!Cape May buffet is one of our favorite places to eat so I was trying to be gentle.
I’m also hoping/watching for Cape May. We have a breakfast reservation for our October trip, but will probably cancel if it doesn’t revert back to the buffet. The buffet is one of our favorites as well, which is why it was so disappointing. Seems unsafe to be going to Buffet with Delta rampant.
Really the eating places are the most susceptible to transmitions because everyone has their masks off and are eating and talking with mouths wide open.
I think it's because they have an "out" in that they can say, "We are complying with the Florida guidelines/requirements." My own opinion: I feel things are worse now than they were before they closed, but as long as they are following the letter of the law, they feel justified in pushing the limits. If people do get ill, it's after they return home so Disney is relatively safe in saying that people could have gotten ill anywhere. Plus, people have a tendency to believe something bad won't happen to them, it always happens to someone else so they take chances. (I'm probably just as guilty of that too.)I was kind of wondering about this also. With Covid-19 hospital rates soaring, I'm somewhat puzzled that WDW is still loosening restrictions.
Its not really about safety anymore. Just following whatever the CDC says. I don’t think there is even limits at dining establishments anymore. Just mask when not eating.I was kind of wondering about this also. With Covid-19 hospital rates soaring, I'm somewhat puzzled that WDW is still loosening restrictions.
Very few people mask when not eating while eating. Its not really about safety anymore. Just following whatever the CDC says. I don’t think there is even limits at dining establishments anymore. Just mask when not eating.
