Biergarten Restaurant

Great Beer, Good food, lots of fun. Just be aware in case you were not already, you will share a table with others unless you have a large party of like 8.

The tables seat 8. Most likely there will be 8 at the table. The food is very good. It is buffet style, so you can pick and choose what you want.

Biergarten is one of our "Must Do" restaurants.

I think it's a lot of fun, the food's good and the show is cute. I've been twice - once I was seated (solo) with a family of 7 who were very entertaining, but on my last trip I was seated with another solo diner who hit on me, and three couples who didn't want to talk, so the table was a bit more boring.

I would agree that the atmosphere is quite lively. You are seated inside but feel as if you are in an exterior German village. Very cool. There is an "oompah" band that plays and the kids enjoy going out and dancing. We have never minded be placed with others as we have one another to talk to if they others at the table aren't talkative. But hwe have never found that to be the case--especailly since we are talkers. My husband enjoys the flight of beer!!

Foodwise, my hubby and 2 DD, love this place. The buffet gives them a lot of German fare options and sausage! I on the other hand, will not be eating here this time around to save up my dining points. I don't do sausage and it is one I can easily pass food wise (but I am picky and would rather my dining credit go toward California Grill). But I will still go with them as the environment is great and their joy at eating makes it worth it.

Do you know that if you go you will be charged your TS dining credit whether you eat anything at all or not. Just going, you WILL BE CHARGED.

Is this new? I only ask because last time I went to the beirgarten I did not eat and did not get charged a TS for it. I was a bit under the weather and the wife really wanted to go with her friends. I had a glass of water and only stayed for the length of the "oompah" band show then departed back to the resort to rest. My wife showed me the receipt (we save them all) and it only showed 1 TS used. At the end of our trip we had 1 extra TS meal left too which means they did not charge us for me to have a glass of water.

You were given pixie dust by a nice CM then. The policy is to charge whether or not you eat.

Just went for the first time last trip. As a couple, we were seated with another couple and a family of four. The family of four was late, so us and the other couple were seated first - and we chatted along nicely during the meal. The table of four that came late was in their own world.

We liked the little show. It's not awesome or anything, but it was a nice added-feature to the event. And few kids really got into the polka.

Food - buffet had lots of choices - but not that many that were "super authentic" German food. A bit Americanized. Different selections though, for sure. So if you are looking for "a different buffet with some German food - I'd definitely go. Food was overall good, a few dishes great, a few dishes not as good as I might hope. Nothing was bad. All seats are good for the show, but some tables are closer together than others - and that can make it feel cramped. We were on top of the table next to us on one side and folks couldn't get out to go to the buffet without everyone moving. That was annoying.

It's a pretty good experience - especially if you price compare to other options. We'd do it again - but maybe not every time we go.

My significant other really appreciated the shared table experience (our conversation with the other couple was really nice), the show, and the fact the food is a bit different than many typical Disney offerings. That made it unique enough to be a big hit for him. Me, I'm pickier about what is GOOD German food and had to keep getting up due to the tables being too close together.....

We love it, the food is a bit different so that's why we like it. Pretzel rolls, meatballs, the salad bar, carved meats, and the spaetzle are all great.

Although entertainment at lunch and dinner, the dinner show is far more fun. At dinner
you get more Oom-Pah music and dancing, let alone be chosen to participate. Though
WDW likes to Americanize its food, Biergarten remains authentic. Good & above average
German comfort food. The "beer hall" tables mainly have 8-seats, but there are 3-seat
tables of 4-seats along the upper mezzanine wall. In all cases, tables are pretty close
to each other, thus access is tight when standing up. There is little difference in food
from lunch to dinner.

A personal favorite, missed it this past time when we skipped it to try out Via Napoli and Teppan Edo. Those were good too, but Biergarten is awesome. Plenty to eat for even my picky 11 year old.

Biergarten is pretty much a must-do for my family. Good food, good show, good beer!

Biergaten is one of our favorites!! Great food and the atmosphere is nice. The show is fun and we always go at lunch as well.

This looks encouraging!

I've been wanting to try this place, so our first park day we are having lunch here as part of the Candlelight Processional package. I'm hoping we don't get duds for tablemates because we plan on drinking! (One of the few bad things I've heard about this place...getting stuck at a table with people who frown upon drinking...at a beer garden! Yeeesh!)

We like the atmosphere and the food but don't enjoy sitting with other families (it's only DH and I).
