Biergarten Restaurant TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT?

GO! But, go at lunch it's cheaper and the food is relatively the same. It's a must go every time we are there. The kids love it and the entertainment adds to it.

We love it ..everyone found something to eat including our picky 7 yr old..On our last vist we are only a party of 3 so we were seated with a single mom and her 4 kids plus infant(so 5 kids total-I give that woman kudos ) it was a little chaotic .But the beer made it worth it

Yeah, I thought people would like that..that poor woman looked like she was going to have a nervous breakdown.I felt bad so I tried helping her out with getting her kids food at the buffet etc..She was very nice person, overwhelmed though. She didn't realize Biergarten meant communal tables or that it was a buffet..The kids were all well behaved though and quieted down once they all had food..Like I said the beer made it all good..Dh, I think ,felt like the man with 2 wives...LOL:lmao:

I don't remember the cost, but no the beers were not included in the price of the buffet. I think Allears does have a few of the prices on their menu.

I booked Beirgarten for my husband last March. It was purely an act of love as I had no desire to eat there. (I'm a really picky eater when it comes to anything out of the ordinary.) Ironically, it's the first one we want to book for our trip net summer. We loved it. It was a welcome break and our daughter who was 3 at the time loved dancing. We had a table close to the stage area and could sit and watch her dance. Unfortunately the people we were seated with weren't very friendly (maybe they didn't realize they'd be seated at communal tables???) but we didn't let it ruin our fun.

I hope next summer we're seated with some fellow DISers! :) :grouphug::grouphug:

We always go to Biergarten and our son requested it for our next adventure there.......he wants his two kids and his wife to enjoy it as much as he used to..
We went this past May and we loved it...I am not into the sausages and saukraut stuff but I liked everything else..
SOmetimes others replies are different then mine.....so you have to find out for yourself..

We ate at the Biergarten 3 years ago and my husband is still talkiong about it. He loved it! In fact we are going back in Nov. and hubby wants to go there twice. The food was very good and the atmosphere and show are really enjoyable. Sitting at tables with strangers is a little weird, but we wound up having fun chatting with people of different ages and from differnt places. Go and enjoy!

I think it really appeals more to men than women IMO. (Maybe it's those giant beers). It's like the castle, I think everyone should try it once to see what THEY think. There are enough options on the buffet that everyone can find something they like. The atmosphere is nice and the band is entertaining while you eat.
Hated to see that they no longer have the black-forrest cake on the dessert buffet though.
