Biergarten Question

I'm trying to determine ADRs for a trip in May and one on our list is the Biergarten. We've only eaten there for dinner and have always had fun watching the entertainment. Does anyone here know if the entertainers are also there during lunch?

A lunch may fit better in our schedule, but I definitely want the entertainment!

Yes there is entertainment at the lunch seatings.

The showtimes don't start immediately when lunch does, though, so be careful. I think the first one usually starts at around 1pm.

So if you book an "early" lunch (noon), you'd have to linger for a while to see it!

I think I read somewhere that the band starts at like 1:15 or something like that. I booked a 2pm lunch for this reason.

According to this: http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ the entertainment at the Biergarten begins at 12:30 p.m. I have a lunch ressie at noon, changed it from 12:30, because we'd like to see the entertainment and be able to get some food before the show begins.

I am going to go out on a limb and guess that the time the entertainment starts will depend on the time of year. Slightly earlier for peak and later for non peak.

If you go to get seated for your ADR and the entertainment starts a little later you can ask to push back the ADR. While the system may say there are none as long as it is not peak season they are usually good about working with you.

It seems like they added a show, when I booked the ressie the first time in August, the first show was listed as being at 1:15.
