Trying to pick a lunch in Epcot. DS doesn't really like Chinese, although the rest of us really do. He might be able to pick his way through it but wouldn't be ideal. I'm wondering if Biergarten would be a better choice after looking at the menus. If you have eaten at both I 'd be curious to hear which experience you liked better, which atmosphere etc...

Thanks. :sunny:

I prefer Biergarten with any picky eaters because it's buffet. Maybe you could do lunch at Biergarten and then do counter service in China to satisfy your chinese craving later. I loved the S&S chicken they made!

were going to try Biergarten on our next trip, I think everyone will find something they like. we have wanted to eat here the last couple of trips. :sunny:

Between the two I'd chose Biergarten.

The reviews of 9 Dragons have been luke-warm. Basically, since you can get good chinese food in just about any large community, its no better than what you get at home.

OTOH, German restaurants are harder to find - especially those that have entertainment.

But you should look carefully at the menu's of each.

We had dinner at Nine Dragons in June and it was the highlight of our trip. I agree that they have standard Chinese food, but they also have speciality items that I don't think the "regular" Chinese restaurants would have. I had a huge piece of white fish in an amazing sauce. I don't remember what my DS had, but we both enjoyed our meals and would definitely return again.
We only ate at Biergarten way back in 1997. The only thing that stands out is that we really did not like to sit at a large table with other people.

I do not like the smell of whatever that is in Germany...on the other hand I LOVE 9 Dragons! That is one of our favorite places. Esp when you eat burgersthe wholke time you are there and that kind of stuff over and over, it kind of wakes up your taste buds to have something different.
