I am trying to decide whether or not to reserve Biergarten for lunch or dinner? Are there any significant differences in the food or entertainment between the two times? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Its buffet and I would be surprised to see a difference. Did you consider google their menu to check? :confused3

We did it for the first time just 2 weeks ago, we LOVED it.........what a fun, relaxing time, our table (which is shared) was right against the stage area.....Enjoy!

(oh, we had dinner) GREAT desserts by the way, YUMMY!!!

The dinner buffet has a few additional items. From allears.net, the items are: Braised Beef Roulades, Sauerbraten (Marinated Pot Roast), Potato Dumplings with Bread Crumb Butter, and Herring Salad Schleswig Holsteiner Style.

Also, if you have an early lunch or really late dinner, there is the potential that you might miss the Oktoberfest Show.

We go for a very late lunch, like in the 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. area. It ends up being our large meal of the day.

According to Allears, here's the difference between lunch and dinner (other than the price):
Dinner Buffet Only Add-Ons

Braised Beef Roulades
Sauerbraten (Marinated Pot Roast)
Potato Dumplings with Bread Crumb Butter
Herring Salad Schleswig Holsteiner Style

If you don't see anything there that you absolutely have to eat, lunch will save you some money.

We always go at lunch to save some money. We figure there isn't anything extra at dinner worth paying that much extra for. They have the same entertainment and mostly the same food. It is one of our favorite restaurants at Disney. Plus, we are never hungry enough for supper when we eat there. It is like getting two meals for the price of one.

We like lunch there as well. I like getting out of the heat in the middle of the day, too. We've been both for lunch and for dinner, but found the food to be pretty similar.
