Biergarten closed in October???

I started making our ADR's for our trip at the end of Sept/Early Oct and from Oct 1 - Oct 7 (we check out early on the 8th) there is no availabilty for lunch or dinner at the Biergarten. It's usually fairly easy to get a ressie there, so I wonder why there is no availabilty. Especially durning F&W.

I got an ADR for Biergarten Oct 4, but there were only 2 times available. Think maybe lots of folks want to do Octoberfest in October? I was surprised so few options. Just keep trying, you'll get something.

We went during F & W fest last year and was able to get a last min reservation..there were plenty of times avail. It was the 1st week of Oct too. Weird!

Yes, very odd. I tried again last night and every lunch and dinner from Oct 1 -7 has no availabilty.

im guessing this place is far more crowded than usual in Oct cause of Oktoberfest. Thats prob why there's no availability. I would keep trying thou! Even if you dont get a ressie before your trip, during your trip ask concierge to check when you arrive at your resort. And keep checking with them daily. As a last resort, just walk up!

There's never any guarantee, but you can always try a walk-up. In recent years there's been a trend where people book multiple ADRs for the same meal just to cover all the bases and only show up for where they happen to be when the time comes. We have walked into "fully booked" restaurants many times and half the tables were empty. It shouldn't be that way, but that's the way some people are these days.

That is strange, indeed. We always go in October. Although it is REALLY busy and crowded there around dinner, we've always been able to get an ADR (or three!) there...keep trying. Hope you can get in!

You might also want to try - either one, putting in the exact time you are looking for, or two calling. It seems like at times the online reservation system will say there isn't anything, when really there is.

I was trying, too. I tried online, even just trying a party of 2 just to see if therer is ANY availability for Oct. 3-8 and NOTHING for lunch or dinner any of those days. I called and the reservationist couldn't find anything either. It's crazy. I am in disbelief that I can get ADRs for 17 people at Cinderella's Table but can't get into Biergarten!

No, you're not. In fact, when I got off the phone I came over to DisBoards and did a search for Biergarten just to find everyone else who was having the same issue!

I tried calling and they couldn't find anything either. CM thought it was odd too, and was going to speak to a manager and let them know.

That's an idea too. But it's lunch and dinner for 7 straight days. Something must be going on!

We are going nov. 5 - 12 and I was planning to make a reservation there for the first time. I hope that there will be something available when we go. I know it is the last week ofvfood and wine. I am hoping it won't be too crowded during the weekdays!

I just discovered this too. I was playing around trying to see which ADRs would be the hardest to get so I know the order to try for on Monday. Couldn't find a single day in October with availability at Biergarten. It would be our first time eating there and will be really disappointing if we can't. I can only imagine they are closed for some reason. Seems strange with Oktoberfest but you can get a table easily at the end of September so I'm not sure if it would have anything to do with F&W. Guess it's back to the drawing board on where to eat lunch that day.
