Biergarten..are we gonna miss the show???

We have a 6:15 dinner reservation for Biergarten...but are we gonna miss the show keeping that spot? It looks like the dining shows are 5:55 and 7pm. I can't see us sticking around for 45 minutes to catch the 7pm, and the 5:55 may be just wrapping by the time we are seated. There is a 5:45 reservation I can snag. It may be a little tighter getting there...and wehave Frozen FP right at 5pm.

Should I switch the dinner ressie? The show is very important to us.

We've always been at least 45 minutes eating at any table service, so I would think you'd be fine at 6:15. Especially if they seat you a bit late.

What day of the week is your ressie? The last few times there, esp on a weekend during F&W, it took me a good half hour from check-in to returning to table with first plate of food. The 7pm show may be your window after all.

It's not a F&W day. Reservation is for a Saturday before F&W starts.

Well, surprise, the stupid reservation system is undergoing "magical enhancements" and won't allow me to move the reservation. I called Disney Dining and the system is down for them too.

Keep your dinner reservation. How fast do you eat? Relax. Have a drink. We usually chat a bit before jumping up to a buffet. I think your reservation time is perfect for a 7pm show.

We have ours at 1 pm for 1:15 pm show. Do you think I need to make it earlier?

Well, MDE is seriously ticking me off right now. System is down for everyone. I suppose we'll just check in right at 6:15 and anticipate the typical long seating process we usually encounter at Biergarten and then try to eat slowly. We don't drink, and we are generally done and out of a restaurant well before people who were already seated (and sometimes already eating) before we even arrived.

We are bringing my parents and I know my Dad will love the band (heck, WE do) so we don't want to miss any of it.
