Biergarten fans here. My family (husband, adult sons and their spouses) all love it. We are not huge buffet fans but the food here is good and the gigantic beers aren't half bad either. I'm not a big meat eater but I'm still able to find a lot of dishes here that I enjoy.

We love Biergarten! Going again in a few weeks. My DH who goes to Germany often likes it better than the food he eats in Germany!!

We always go at least once on our trips. All the German places around us have closed so this is the only time we get German food.

DW and I ate there last time we visited and loved it. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Entertainment was great. It was just two of us so we ended up sitting at a table with a large family that was celebrating their DD birthday (around 16) so they were all festive and having a good time. We enjoyed the food so much, we did a search once we got home and found a great German food place in town. :woohoo:

I think it's great. GREAT beer, very fun atmosphere and good food. How good? Well, we lived in the Bavarian part of Germany for 3 years. And we rate the food at Biergarten to be just as good. Unfortunately for my waistline.

I just received a $200 gift card from work (a huge surprise) and decided to use it for a dinner at Disney World next month. The overwhelming choice between my husband and me was the Biergarten. Good entertainment, good food, casual atmosphere.

One thing I suggest - do not wait until the end of the meal to get your desserts. I started getting a salad and a dessert right off the bat. Then other food and a dessert. Then another plate and a dessert. And then a dessert. Why wait until you are stuffed to try and force down the desserts?

Went once as LOVED it! I'd like to go back, but we just haven't had room to work it in over the course of our last few trips. I really hate doing TS lunch, but part of me wants to do it on our Epcot day even if I'm full beyond belief just so I can get a chance to go back in the semi-near future. I mean, I've done 3 TS meals over the course of a day...but I remember being painfully full after our one and only visit to Biergarten. Clarification - HAPPY and painfully full! :rotfl2:

Absolutely love Biergarten! We go pretty much every time we go to Disney - which is nice, because we only live 2 hours away! I food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great.

We love the Biergartern. It's a must when we visit. Menu is varied but nothing is so weird that you wonder what it is. Desserts are great...DS1 loves their Bavarian Cheesecake. The German band is a lot of fun. Went for DS1 birthday and they wished him a Happy Birthday.

I love their red cabbage and sometimes they have a mashed potato saurkraut meat dish...it is so good, but then again, I love saurkraut. :thumbsup2

Our Ratings of Biergarten: (rev 8/8/11)
. . . food price value: C
. . . food quality: B
. . . food quantity per serving: A
. . . food prep speed: B
. . . food selection: C
. . . seating quantity: B
. . . seating comfort: C
. . . eatery atmosphere: B
. . . eatery convenience: B
. . . staff friendliness: C
. . . staff attentiveness: B
. . . characters: B (entertainment, not characters)

NOTE: Seating is on long beer-hall tables, so other families will be
seated with you. Although entertainment at lunch and dinner, the
dinner show is far more fun. At dinner you get more Oom-Pah music
and dancing, let alone be chosen to participate. Although WDW likes
to Americanize its food, Biergarten remains relatively authentic. It
is good, above average German comfort food. The tables are in seats
of 6-8-10-12. (There are three tables for 4 along the mezzanine wall.)

Couldn't get enough schnitzel last time I was there. Good, different place to eat.

I love the schnitzengruben and the schwartzwalderkirschtorte. Prosit! :drinking1

Love the schnitzel and the apple streusel covered with the warm vanilla sauce. Yummmmmmm. It is fun eating with random people- as long as they speak English. Last time the people we sat with spoke no English and it was a little awkward... But other times it was fun meeting new people. We love the atmosphere here and the band is fun.

We're fans as well. My girls (3 1/2 and 6 1/2) both love it too. My oldest first went when she was 1 1/2 and tried the saurkraut. A favorite with our family is the pretzel roll. I'm a super fan of the meat selection. My wife loves the bavarian cheesecake. The girls both will both eat the taters, brat and/or sausages. The best part is they have options for kids too like mac n cheese.

If you want to go, make sure you check the times guide to find out when the show portion is too. It's nice to eat and enjoy the music and the show they put on.

So glad to hear all the great reviews! Having my birthday dinner here with 14 of my family members. Looking forward to a good time!!

We LOVE it! Don't miss the soup, the huntsman's sauce and the bavarian cheesecake (you can put vanilla sauce AND berry compote on the top). I agree with the PP, the desserts are soooo delicious there, and very different from the typical stuff you find for dessert on most of the Disney buffets.
