Biergarten Anyone??

If we went to WDW, and I failed to make an ADR for Biergarten, DH and DD(6) would never let me hear the end of it. It is DH's one request every trip. DD has ranked it up there with Princess meals since she was 3. Her favorite places are 1. CRT 2. Biergarten and 3. Akershus... which means it even ranks above one of the Princess meals for her which is HUGE. I like the place too.

Im just chiming in ,& glad to see all the rave reviews... We have adr's for 12 for the first time ever eating here in late Aug.& now I can't wait to go...Thnx all.

Just wanted to let everyone know we will be booking our 1st meal @ Biergarten for this trip!! My DH is loves German food & was very happy w/ your reviews. I'm excited to try something different. We are looking forward to giving this place a try!!!

Biergarten is a must for our family. Kids love it, Parents love it, Grand parents love it.

Is it too late for me to learn the oompah dance.... while holding up my 32 ounce stein....lol

We will be there on August 28th!!! Can't Wait..:cool1:

I have been to Biergarten 6-7 times and have always enjoyed it. Back in the day, they didn't make you sit with other people, which I felt made for a more comfortable dining experience. Funny enough, we went for a 2 week trip last December and it was my fiance's first time. I had planned, what I thought, all these amazing TS meals planned every day with Biergarten kind of just thrown in. I'm currently planning our trip this December and asked my fiance if there were any places he would like to go back to, expecting to hear "Ohana's" or "Le Cellier". He exclaimed "Biergarten!" When I asked if he wanted to go any other places he said "Biergarten, twice?" :confused3 I think all I eat is $30 worth of Bavarian cheesecake at Biergarten :lovestruc.

LOL! So nice to hear!! My DH loved LC & 'Ohana was a fav of mine! I do not think I have read one bad review about it! That kind of shocks me, but it's true! I'm most excited for this famous cheesecake!!! :cake:

Love, love, love the biergarten! The whole family really enjoys the atmosphere and the food. Even my vegetarian DD can find things to eat ( I think they may be mostly dessert but it's vacation!)

We LOVE the Biergarten and have a visit planned during our next trip. Currently have our ADR's for 5:30 but now I am questioning that. I don't want to miss the band. Does anyone know what time the band will be playing or where I can find out???:confused3

Love the Biergarten. Going for Lunch this Thursday. Cant wait for one or two of those huge beers with all that yummy food.

I haven't eaten there yet but I plan to this November! Making my ADRs this Wednesday!!:yay:

We loved Biergarten!!!! DD (who was almost 5 at the time) said this was her favorite restaurant at Disney, and we did DXDP and ate at most of the character restaurants, etc. She LOVED the little toast they did with the drinks (Ticky Tocky, Ticky Tocky, Hoy, Hoy, Hoy) is all I hear from her at the table still, 1.5 years later! :) The food was just okay to me but we'll be dining there again as it was one of our favorite places on our last trip.

Just came back from WDWs last night. Every year since its been open we have been going. Its a staple of our trip.
This past week it was the first time I was a dissapointed. They took some dishes away from the menu. I know the soup is seasonally, we did not care for it very salty. The roasted pork was dry. The rolled beef with sauce was dry.( I dont remember the name) Most of the cooked meats were dry. We felt Not a care in the world for the cooking of the food. Its one thing if it was one , but all .
We did notice this time around the attitude from employees around the resorts were really piss poor. I dont know whats going on, but I have no desire to hear an employees compliants when I'm on vacation.
