Bidding Priceline Easter week?

I have not been able to get a bid accepted yet either, I checked out the Orlando Magic Card suggested by spicycat and made a ressie at Comfort Suites Maingate East for $89 a night. This is a little hight than what the OMC site says, but it is after the renew date for the offers and it is a holiday weekend. I have seen good reviews for the hotel and it can be cancelled. At least at this point we have a place to stay. I will keep watching on here as we still may try priceline closer to the time we go or even while we are there.

STILL TRYING FOR RESORT 4/6 - 4/9/07 ON PRICELINE...NO LUCK! I did also make a back-up reservation at Comfort Suites Maingate East with Orlando Magicard for $89.99/night rate. You're right Poohhappens--lots of good reviews on this property and you can't beat the free deluxe continental breakfast. I guess I will be satisified with this if I can't get my usual priceline resort deal. Time will tell.............

I'd check Hotwire before paying $90.00 for a Comfort Inn.

They seem to have a lot of options for Disney area, Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista for that weekend. You're pretty safe taking anything 2.5 * or higher on Hotwire. They are a bit higher than Priceline, but still cheaper than anything else.

It is a comfort suites not a comfort inn and it has great reviews and includes breakfast. We used hotwire for our first night before SS at disney, we got a bestwestern lakeside and this hotel is not nearly as nice, although it was cheaper. There is just not as much availible right now. We have been watching hotwire, but not that much that I can count on being decent. We will keep trying, but seems to me this is better than nothing at all.

Might see you there.:)

It would be fun to meet! (If we do actually both end up staying there.) I'll keep you updated on my priceline bids so that hopefully we can both benefit!:)

The Comfort Suites does get some good reviews. For Easter week that's not a bad rate at all.

Just got the Hyatt Grand Cypress for 135 a night. I'm happy to not be under a bridge. ;)

I also just got the Hyatt GC for 145 night for Feb 20-25 (presiden'ts week; couldn't find anything decent that week!)

I tried 110, 120, 130, 137, and then 145 before I got it.

I got Omni Championsgate for 4/5-4/8 for $120 a night, but I did my bidding last month.

Still bidding 04/06/07 - 04/09/07 resort level in Disney World Vicinity up to $85 and no luck! Been bidding weekly since December. I have a back up ressie and have read other posts about the resorts being full 1st week of April. (although I have not personally checked that out)

Hopefully the resorts will release rooms to priceline soon. For 8 years I have bid through priceline during Easter week and never had a problem. Something's gotta give!:confused3
