How important are reservations on a Thursday in May? My daughter wants to do it now, but not sure if she's going to be as enthusiastic when surrounded by all the other Disney fun. I'm wondering if we should just wait until we're there to decide. Are there good odds of getting a same day appointment?

Maybe make the appointment for your second day if possible (if you are doing more than one day). I think you just have to cancel 24 hrs in advance, so at least you would get a feel if she still wanted to do it?

I would also consider the Frozen Boutique in DTD it is ALOT cheaper and basically the same hairstyles!! I think BBB is pretty busy though so you should probably make a reservation!

I had to settle for a less than desirable time when I went to make my reservations 3 weeks before our trip in February (which was supposed to be a low crowd time) so I would highly recommend you make them when you can to get what time you want. That way you won't have to rush to make your appointment like we did.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll skip it for our May trip since we'll just be there one day and make reservations for our June trip when we'll be there 4 days. That way she won't feel like she's missing out on other fun

I second the suggestion to make it for a second or even third day and make it early so she can enjoy it all day. The early reservations go fast so book asap!
