We are planning a trip to WDW in May and are planning on trying CRT for lunch. We have done the breakfast there several times and wanted to try something different. We have PS's for the Crystal Palace breakfast at 8:10 a.m. in order to fulfill my wife's wishes to get into the MK before park opening (she has the most wonderful picture of my daughter in front of the castle with both Mickey nad Minnie and she hopes to get another similar magic picture with my daughter and stepson this time). We will then have a lunch at CRT followed by a dinner at Mama Melrose's in MGM before Fantasmic. My wife is worried about eating three big meals in one day and eating into our budget (both money and time). She really wants the collecter's mug from CRT with the Bibbidy-Bobbity-Brew smoothie. Is there any way to just order this or will we have to eat a meal. I suggested to eat an appetizer or salad and the smoothie. Can we do this? I don't know if anyone else has done anything like this, but my wife really wants that mug. Any reccomendations would be appreciated.

If you like to eat many sit down meals - you may want to look into the DDE card if you have AP (Annual Pass tickets) or live in FL.DDE gives to 20% off.

Or try the Dining My Way option for discounts.

Eating at sit downs gives your feet a rest and a place to cool off with real A/C.

Enjoy :)

OMG I never thought of that...I will be on the phone first thing in the morning trying to get an early PS...can you imagine my Mom seeing the castle for the first time without the mad rush of people down main street....oh I can't wait!!! :sunny:

We've never done 3 meals like that in a day, usually just 2, but if you don't eat huge amounts at breakfast (hard to do at the buffets, I know!), then eat a light lunch of appetizers or a salad (which I haven't done, but you could easily do), then try to make dinner as late as possible, you'd be fine I'm sure. Of course, if dinner is at like 4pm, it would be hard, but you could still do it by eating lightly at all meals.
