Hey! I am very excited! I just booked the Castle Package for my 5 year oldl for our upcoming trip. The price will be between 186-240 they said depending on the costume she picks and accessories. I can't wait! anyone been? any suggestions?

My 5 yo DD did this in July and loved it!!! She did the hair and nail package. She wore her Cinderella dress to the BBB. She loved it and wants to do it again. Next time though I'm just going to have her do the hair package. Although she liked getting her nails done, the fake nails aren't much fun for a 5yo to play around in. She popped them all off within the first 30 minutes of having them! The had painted her nails underneath so she still liked that part, but not worth an additional $10.00 to just get nail paint. The up-do was quite cute though and lasted into the evening.

We took my "almost five" year old niece in September. Based on the advice from the Disboards, I booked the hair only package. She already had a Cinderella dress and wore it to the "appointment." I also purchased glittery pink nail polish at home and did her nails just before we caught the bus to DD ($2.50 a bottle rather than $10). I watched the Fairy Godmother very closely and was able to replicate the princess hairstyle for my niece's bithday party a few weeks later!

She absolutely loved it and I thought for $35 it was well worth it.

Another "hint" - After we got home I saw that our local Target sold hair extensions for girls that were almost the same as the Disney ones. For $6, I bought a long, dark brown curly "Belle" style. My niece dressed up as Belle for Halloween and looked just beautiful!

My little one did the package without the costume in May and she loved it. The experience was fantastic. All I can advise, is do book in advance, and turn up early, as the wait at the podium is often quite long. Enjoy - and take some photos yourself. Ours came out better than the photopass ones.
