On our last trip we found out that even grown up girls can have BibbidiBobbidi Boutique experience... only with out the dresses. I'm kinda considering it this year (I'm a total dork). I'm just wondering if any other grownup princesses have done this?

I am considering this too so I am with you... wondering how other's experiences went?

Well.. I got a private message from someone who did it. They didn't want to post about it because tehy said some people on the boards are against it:confused3... don't understand why... Anyway, she said that it took about an hour and a half for both her and her friend. She said that it was fun to do with a girlfriend, but she wouldn't do it every trip. I was worried about damaging my hair and how things wash out; she said that her hair wasn't dmaged at all and thateverything washes out fine. She said that there are different packages, so you can just get your hair done if you don't want your makeup messed with.
I'm still pondering it myself... can't decide if its worth an hour of my day... or for my husband to stand there and watch. But it also, kinda sounds fun... I just can't decide.

I've thought about having it done too, when I called recently to book it for my niece, the woman on the phone asked me if I wanted it too. She said all people do it- moms, grandmas, aunts.....I passed but think it would be fun to have my hair done when DN has hers done.:cutie:

I have not done this but on my last trip we ran into a group of 4 women on a girls weekend who just came from BBB. They looked great and were having the time of their lives....:cheer2:
If you want to do it...why not? Just my opinion.

I looked into doing BBB, but I just couldn't justify it. I don't think they do the same "magic" with the adults, and it felt like I could go to a spa at one of the resorts and get pampered better for the same money. I also didn't like any of the three hairstyles. I kind of want the dress and the whole experience, and since they don't do that for adults, it didn't have the appeal for me. That having been said, if you want it, go for it!

My DH, though, got his hair cut at the barber shop on Main Street, and he loved that. They won't cut a Mickey head into your hair anymore, but they do paint in a Mickey using this goo stuff that was surprisingly resilient for being a washout (it came out in the shower pretty easily).

If you happen to be going to the princess 1/2, they do discounted BBB hairstyles at the expo, and they'll sprinkle you with pixie dust for free. :)

Thanks! I am torn... I'm having trouble justifying spending an hour+ for some thing I could, conceivably, do myself. you are right, without a princess dress it just doesn't feel as special. I understand why adults aren't allowed to wear costumes, but it still is kind of sad... I would so love to go to CRT for dinner all dressed up like a princess!pixiedust:princess:

At the MNSSHP in September and October you can wear your princess costume. It is the only time that I am aware of that the MK allows this. You have to purchase separate tickets but you also get to see the Headless Horseman lead a parade and trick or treat at the MK. Where else can you get your picture taken in front of the castle dressed in full regalia!

Okay, thank goodness I'm not the only weird adult who would seriously consider this...

...I was at the Pirate's League at MK a few months ago, and there were a lot of adults, men and women, having their makeup done. And the staff at the Pirate's League were awesome with them. I stood there watching an adult get the "mermaid" makeover done, and I was so jealous. The staff were interacting with the adults just as they do with the kids.

I'm seriously considering trying to get an appointment over there before MNSSHP. I loved what I saw of the "experience" - not just a makeup/hair treatment, and I can see potential for great memories. As someone else said, I'm not sure if the staff at BBB would treat an older customer as a "princess," and I'm looking for an experience - I can get my hair and makeup done elsewhere.

Just thought I'd throw out another possibility...and express my gratitude that other people admit to still wanting to be a princess: princess (or a pirate princess) no matter their age.

when we a few years ago for the Pirate & Princess Party i was told by a CM that i was a "grown up" and couldn't get my princess make-over.:confused3 i was bummed out until i went back to our room and did my own 'makeup' princess:pirate:
